Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no
And, feelin' good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues
You know, feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee

He wrote that about Janis Joplin. He was quite a interesting character. A Rhodes scholar, could’ve taught at West Point, and the list goes on

This is the most talent ever amassed on the same stage. Could you imagine the price of concert tickets for this concert if it were today? These guys are just. naturally laid back doing what they were meant to do entertain. They are all in tune no fancy jewelry or clothes just a normal people. These want to be singers today could never keep up this is real country.

Yes it is fair to say that Highwaymen concert 1990s was the greatest show of the 20th century. Plus it was also said that Kris, K was one of best songwriters, ever!! On Ken Burns PBS Country Music Documentary, fantistic, his best yet. These great musicians were featured, it tells how they got their start, especially about Kris K, his story, really good. Great series.!!

john smith It’s about playing in a live setting. Typically the band is behind the speakers, the PA is facing the crowd but in front of the stage. Yeah, they could hear it, but it would be echoing back and not sound right. So when you see those wedges on the front of a stage facing back towards a band, those are speakers so the band can hear themselves clearly. A lot of modern acts use in ear monitors so they can move around more.

What amazes me is that...according to health specialists....these 4 should have been dead by age 40 from the way they abused their bodies...but...hell no... I think they all hit at least 70. Waylon had diabetic problems that killed him. The others I guess were just pickled and preserved...using about every substance known to man...lol That ALL FOUR of them would survive so long...I'm wondering if they didn't share some special elixir of life or were just too mean to die... lol. Whatever the answer, I am forever grateful that we have had them for so long. God Bless them, every one!!!

@@bettyjoegentry9280 well, Waylon died at 64 and John died of diabetic complications as well - but yeah, they did live longer than they were expected to. I love Waylons remarks about how he knew that everything that was wrong with him, he caused. It takes a man to recognize and accept that, and i hope they didn't have too much regret on their last days. No matter how stupid they were back in the days, legends they were, and though they 'only' lived for 64 and 71 years respectively, they put a mark on the world that will last for hundreds of years.
