How about Mickey Raphael on harmonica! Willie leads on “The city of New Orleans,” Mickey Raphael‘s harmonica is second to none. They’re best of the best. Hallelujah. May Kris Kristofferson rest in peace. Unfortunately, country music isn’t resting in peace. It’s become a septic, evil machine. 💔

Kris Kristofferson delivered greatness wherever he went; and through the darkness there will always be a light found from within his words and stories that spread truth in its simplest form, which is through honest and heartfelt music writing. Any artist who has the privilege of adaptating his music for their own deserves the feeling of belonging and the journey to greatness that is given through his preserving lines that stay great, relevant and true to this day and many more days to come.
