Out of all of the episodes that Whitney and Timmy did, Whitney never spoke ill of Audrina and always painted her in a good light and even felt bad when she was dealing with stuff with Justin. So it sucks to see/feel the shade towards her.

They havent said anything bad about her just the truth about hw she was distant. which this producer confirms by saying she didnt enjoy doing the show.

I agree with Sophia. I'm actually really happy that they didn't include the ladies' fame into the show. It made the show feel more authentic, and I don't think it would be as iconic or trendsetting as it is today if they did that...because now, every show does it 🤷🏾‍♀️

Whitney said that she did go to Paris but it was more of like a trip than her internship. It was with vogue and she did work for the ball but that was only for like a day or 2. Good episode! You guys seem to take notes and are improving!

Whitney went to Paris twice the first trip wasn’t filmed. Remember she said to Lisa Love “Fiona was unbelievable, we went to Coco Chanel’s apartment.. etc” on yt she said brought her best friend Joanna & went for a week. She went back with Lauren in a later season for the Chrillon Ball.

Tbf Heidi was great in S1...then changed so much after she met Spencer and all the fall.out with Lauren. To give her credit, she definitely helped make S1 a success. Suprised u loved the Whit and Timmys eps, as they had the same 'We love Heidi' vibes all the way thru. Tbh they seemed to have a grudge against Lauren, which got frustrating to watch as time went on..no idea what that was all about.

Yes that was interesting to hear but that's probably why Whitney agreed to film as it was related to the internship that she thought was real as Sophia the producer stated. Whitney's personality seems very different from the rest of the girls that was on the show. She appears to be very laid back and not looking for fame or attention so she probably didn't really desire to film but did it for the internship that her and Lauren thought was real. She honestly doesn't seem like the type that would want to be on TV but that show gave her a platform that she can still profit off of via the fame it provided her with. I'd be interested in Whitney's take on the internship not being totally real lol, according to this producer, Sophia.

Why can they not have the show playing and then sit, watch it and react to it? They are all obviously taking the time to watch it at home, and then taking even more time to do the podcast to talk about it. The current way they have it set up, makes them are all over the place while discussing it. If they would actually watch the show, they would all be talking about the same moments and we would get to see their real reactions of what’s happening on the screen in real time. Im sure it wouldn’t be that hard considering Whitney and her husband do it. I am sure it would have way more viewers by having it set up that way and it would make their million hour long promoting-ad-commercial breaks they do more tolerable.

A clear recap of the episode front to back, ratings, favorite lines etc. another good example of this type of podcast done right is 9021OMG with Jennie Garth and Tori spelling. They include a producer who was a fan of the show growing up, and that reallyyyyy helps get great questions out of them and keep them on track if they ever get side tracked with convos

I was literally one of the ppl that moved to LA cuz of the show. I also went to fidm because Lauren was going to go to a fashion school on Laguna beach but I didn’t know it would end up being the same school I went to! Except I started in San Diego and then took some classes in La by the end and moved there not long after. I only lasted 2 years in La unfortunately.

@@ct6852 it was a love/hate. Loved the friends I made and the fun I was having. Hated the pretentiousness and some of bad things happened with some toxic guys. Plus I got a dog and he wasn’t a fan of the city (downtown), so I moved back to az where my mom lived. My dog, and I enjoy, the slower pace here (less traffic and birds chirping). I do miss La sometimes, but I feel like you need to have a lot of money to live there. I always had roommates and now, I’m my 30’s, I’m too old for roommates. But it was a fun experience in my 20’s. I love San Diego though, it’s so beautiful there. But feel similar about the Roomate thing. I do miss the ocean though, and the weather, like a lot!! 😭

I feel like she's dodging all the questions by saying I don't remember or what's real....I don't think she's being completely honest about what went behind the scenes. She was part of the crew, how dies she not know or remember what went down especially with the position she held. She just doesn't want to discredit the show and come out and say that alot of the Hills was scripted. We all know that it was but it's ridiculous for crew , producers and executive producers to deny the show was scripted. This lady Shopia seems nice but she's obviously being cautious with what she says and it seems she's trying hard to portray that the hills was real...

The only episode of this entire podcast that was worth listening to. This show has been a disorganized mess. No tea has been spilled, the only person who even was present in any capacity for season 1 was Audrina, but she can only speak for herself. It was good to have a producer on for actual insight, and for once they don’t trash Lauren lol I hope they drop Frankie at the very least and bring in a third cast member to at least keep them on track discussing the episodes
