What can u accept when GOI was thinking to have FTA with China and seating PM foundation was lobbying for it. And it took years to give environmental clearance near LAC. India’s dilemma is that it base its border on the Macmanon line which was established by Shimla convention of 1914 between British India and Tibet but then subsequent India policy was that Tibet is part of China “ historically “. How can a region which was part of China “ historically “ have the sovereign right to accord treaty with other country ? Current India policy on Tibet renders its own border null and void. No wonder China is capitalizing on this inherent contradiction

Yes! there should be historical studies known to fact, without sovereignty no State, India was under British India rule never like human history that mighty empire ,, but China is different, she was under different colonial powers and feudal dynasty, after II WW entire imperial, colonial and feudalism collapsed. modi- xi xinoing conclave in mamallapuram triggered something (probably chinese expected kowtow like other vassals) which angered chinese to teach india lesson. they have other reasons as well such as martime patrol and excercise with vietnam in chinese waters and declaring ladakh as centrally administered territory. it will bebinteresting to see whether chinese will repeat 1962 to teach India a lesson. one thing is sure, something from modi government triggered their anger.
