As a Dodger fan from Bakersfield, CA. I am happy that you came as far as you did from what happened prior to 2021. You built the largest Padres media channel, and have the ultimate love for the game. Even though we hate each others teams, we can at least agree that the LOVE for baseball is unlike any other sport out there. Baseball hits different, and very few I know IRL understands that. Padres are a great team, and I did say before the series, whoever won this NLDS was gonna win the World Series. The Dodgers and Padres should have met in the NLCS, MLB needs to reseed going forward. Even though Im not from SD, I know that no one has it harder than San Diego. It is also the best city in CA. Los Angeles and San Francisco is a trashheep. San Diego remains clean and beautiful. This is what team needs to do- since we aren't going to be able to trade X and Manny, whoever is in charge MUST convince them to restructure their deals and take less money so we can allocate that money to sign Scott and Arraez (and possible Kim at a reasonable price)and fill the hole we have at LF(Profar is declining). Add another starter or two. Or we can go for it all and trade Tatis for Skubal or Crochet. If those things don't happen, this team will gradually get worse until we resemble The Rockies

Older Dodgers fan here. I feel your pain. The Dodgers have one full season WS win since 1965. 102 win Dodgers beat by the 88 win A’s in ‘74. Back to back losses to Yankees in ‘77 and ‘78. Nothing compares to the pain of getting cheated by the Astros in ‘17. Continuous failures since 2020. I honestly saw this series as a changing of the guard in the NL West. No way I thought we would win with Ohtani hitting .200 and really only impacting one game. I am not as optimistic about the Dodgers being able to keep it going as you are. I could see y’all winning the West next year. Freeman is getting older and his production was way down. Muncy can’t stay healthy and his skills are diminishing. Chris Taylor is shit. I don’t think Tommy Edman is the answer at shortstop. I could go on. Anyway, keep your head up. It will happen for y’all one day.
