On rainy days we take small seeds, make some clag (flour and water) and we glue them to strips of toilet paper, easier to plant at regular intervals, easier to see. you can also mix them in some dry sand or earth before casting them.

A favorite side is some steamed yellow beets, potatoes, carrots, until almost mashable, then sort of loosely smash it all together with a bunch of butter, salt, and pepper, put your favorite stuff on tip, make a side station even, bacon bits, cheese(s}‚, herbs, greens, sauces, cream (I like Greek yogurt), more butter, or just plain as is on a cool autumn evening. Yellow beet greens are also fabulous. Much easier on my digestion than red beets. Your editing is getting very strong, Meg!! Cinematic.
