I am in a red light bed for 20 minutes about five days a week. The owner of the salon has done intensive research and the company says 20 is the maximum time. I have seen so many improvements in my face and hair I am thrilled. The scars I had have almost disappeared, that is a miracle too.

Thank you Clare for communicating so well on all the alternatives health & beauty maintenance products & regimes. After having a total hysterectomy because at age 57 my hair started to fall out & jowls started to appear Z. But now on Oestrogel & Testogel in small doses & micro current & 3 minutes salted damp towel neck practice & my jowls are gone. Using collagen peptides on skin & have always used high factor sun screen ( fair skinned) & taking magnesium Glycinate & NMN with Apinin to help me relax before bedtime. Please give people a warning about growth factors. My dermatologist told me to never use them as I have had skin cancer in the past. Another Dermatologist here on KZbin warns people about growth factors as well. She says that people who have had skin cancer, especially melanoma should never use it. And she is a Mohs surgeon. Even if someone has never had cancer on their face, it can cause other unwanted things to grow, like skin tags. So everyone should do some research and decide for themselves.
@LisaNix211 ай бұрын
I think that it’s also just common sense that if growth factors and stem cells work to make cells proliferate, then it wouldn’t be selective, and would make both normal and abnormal cells proliferate. So there are risks and benefits just like with estrogen.

Thank you Clare, I always enjoy your videos😄

I always mention safety concerns every time I discuss growth factors. There is no evidence of increased risk but we do need more research - as we do with so many anti-aging treatments.

Yes, while there’s no evidence suggesting that growth factors cause skin lesions to grow it can’t be ruled out without further and longer-term research. I know the parent company is currently going through the process of trying to get FDA approval so that’s one I’ll be keeping an eye on.

Thank you! I haven’t seen it. I know he’s said before he is skeptical about how growth factors pass the skin barrier, which is why microneedling assists. I’m sure there are many products out there where the peptides don’t pass the skin barrier but I think the two I’ve focussed on this year - No7 and Calecim - are supported by good evidence which they set out in the interviews I did.

To my logic I've always thought if the body thinks you still need to go off go hunting or looking for food etc it reacts accordingly and allow is to live longer. Not moving and lifting means you tell your body you don't need to live much longer so it starts to shut down and not rejuvenate itself. Just my logic
