"Safe Haven" is one of my all-time favs from this whole series! The way everything just keeps escalating is so unnerving and horrifying, but then the final moments are almost funny in a pitch-black kind of way.

I remember they wanted to do a full length movie based on Safe Haven. But it never happened. they actually made a movie out of the succubus story from VHS 1. the wrap around story is connected to the original's wrap around. There is a picture in the house of the old man that was dead in the chair in part 1. From what I read they were going to reveal the truth about the vhs tapes in part 3. But it didn't happen and instead they chose to get more modern and go digital with viral videos. So yeah we never truly find out what the deal was with the vhs tapes.

V/H/S 2 is such a great follow up to the first movie! Every entry is captivating and entertaining from start to finish! Also a bit of fun fact, the guy who played the eye implant patient is Adam Wingard, who directed You're Next, Godzilla Vs Kong, as well as a segment in the first V/H/S

dude in the grey shirt in the 3rd one is fucking handsome and can get it lol. i'd say react to HEREDITARY, but that movie scares me, i love horror movies, but my god, that movie gave me nightmares, i saw in the comments on youtube on one of the videos about it, that it fucked up alot of people and their sleeping. it shows real emotions in situations, there's 3 parts in that movie that really fuck me up, especially the 3rd one, if you do react to it, i'm gonna have to block out that part and turn my volume down.i guess react to it then if you haven't yet.

In Clinical trials I just thought about this but which would be worse for you to see or hear things around you? I'm not sure which would be worse because seeing the things is bad but there is no sound and I realize so often the case in horror movies the sound is what gets to most people. And if you can hear stuff but never see it wouldn't that slowly drive you insane? At least if you see the disturbing images it is more immediate of course you still probably go insane.

IMO, this is the best of the V/H/S movies, I’m so glad to see more people checking it out and reacting to it. I watched it back when it dropped in 2013 with my bff and have loved it ever since. I think Safe Haven is one of the best horror shorts of all time, personally. It’s so intense and is basically exactly what I would imagine the gates of hell opening up would look like. The first segment is the only one I didn’t really enjoy and even then it’s not really bad, it’s just not very good either 😂

Hello there I am such a happy new follower of yours ✨ I wanted to really let you know that I am such a fan of v/h/s and movies like Human Centipede and ABC of Death so I am watching this one with you guys first because V/H/S 2 is my favorite but will have such field days soon to come when I go back and watch some of your later stuff of course v/h/s 1 and one more thing please don't let people steer you away from V/H/S Viral because it happens to be my second favorite actually very much tied with V/H/S 2 because I see it like having a favorite child's play movie which mine is Child's Play 3 but after the originals they had fun with the Chucky name with run on stories like Chucky having a girlfriend at all and a son at all so between the run on stories Seed of Chucky is by far the best so please don't stop continuing the V/H/S series or skip one because they are very blunt about how bad they think one is because I do love all of them and continue to wait for new ones to come

That's the thing with movies like this an movie franchise like this. Each Short film is done by different directors the ones behind the VHS movies. Basically go here is your budget an you have this amount of time to make it. Then we need it in by this time to include it in the movie. They talk about it on the audio commentaries for the movie. Now about the last short film with the aliens it was done with. A real dog in the beginning but when the aliens show up. It's a stuffed animal made to look like the dogs fur. Also the director of that short in this movie made a full movie called Kids versus Aliens. Basically he took this short film an made it into a full story an movie.

I have some good names for each tape in this movie the tape of the main part of the movie I like to call “Tape Zero” and the it goes in this order 01:28 Tape Zero phase I: Missing persons case 06:05 Phase I Clinical Trials / Eye see dead people (reference to “The Sixth Sense”) 15:32 Tape Zero Phase II: Further Investigations 15:52 A ride in the park / Walker’s Path (Walker as in “The Walking Dead”) 24:06 Tape Zero Phase III: Vox Psychosis (Vox is the name of the Video Demon from Hazbin Hotel, and I thought I’d make this sound like both a curse and an unidentified illness or condition at the same time) 24:44 Safe Haven / Two Tickets to “Paradise” (completely different meaning than the actual song) 40:36 Tape Zero Phase IV: “WATCH” 41:05 Slumber Party Alien Abduction / “Abduction” (I thought the one word is all we need because it would make people think “is this about kidnappers or aliens?”) 47:23 Tape Zero Phase V: ... --- -. / --- ..-. / - .... . / -.. .. .-. . (When translated it means “Son of the Director” as reference to the last V/H/S where the undead man killed those vandals. I always love the fact that the guy from the couple in green that first comes across and gets bitten the pov zombie, is played by Dave Coyne aka DCLugi, who was an OG KZbin creator back in the day. He's an actor, songwriter and comedian that used to post his skits, songs, impersonations (he did an amazing Walken and Spacey) and was a really funny and all round great guy. But for various reasons, he hasn't posted anything for years now...which is sad, but it's always nice to see his face pop up in stuff ❤
