We got into Holiday Bowl in Augusta, KS, which has been closed since 2016. It's undergoing a renovation now, and we navigated old equipment and a ton of dust for a 1v1 challenge!

Fun fact. My dad (Kris Schumacher) and I were the people who ran this bowling center back in 2015-2017ish. I believe after we closed it stayed closed until the owner auctioned it off about 2 years ago. Fun video its nice to see the old bowling center again but sad to see it worn down.

Dude, the center is open now, and it's BEAUTIFUL. It's got all 1959 refurbished Brunswick Gold Crown lane equipment (except for the SYNC scoring), the wood lanes were refinished, the house balls are the new BGC house balls, and if that's not enough to convince you, it's where I shot my high score of 278. I LOVE it.

@@NateCraven318 Do you have a website for this alley. Love to see it today. I grew up in a 10 lane house in the early 70's. Started working there when I was 13 chasing pins and retrieving stuck balls. I pretty much lived there for a couple of years. Some of the best days of my life were there.

My local alley is the alley in Hutchinson,ks. We used to have countryside lanes until it closed. I like the old style bowling alleys though. They have that nostalgic bowling alley smell to them

I would love to see the flat screens come down and someone find the old school projectors... Most retro I have bowled here in OK is the other one in Shawnee (Shawnee Bowl) where they still have tube TVs hanging up. Very awesome feel to bowl there.

Next challenge can be trying Duckpin or Candlepin bowling at northeast US or Canada. The lanes are the same 60 feet long. On Duckpin the pins are smaller and wider and balls are small with no holes. In Candlepin the pins are thinner and taller. The ball is even smaller with no holes. There's no oil plus you have to aim at the pins. The approach is needed for giving force and spin to the small ball. If you make it at Duckpin or Candlepin, you can easily win a PBA tour on Ten Pin bowling. Thanks for the video.

Those red pins bring back good memories. When I was a kid, we used to go rent a lane from 9-1. At 1:00 they started red pin bowling and we would always bowl a game or two. A free game for a strike with the red head pin. Good times.

Ideas for a video: 1. "wrong foot" approach game. So righties land on right foot and lefties on left. 2. One step approach..each bowler can only make ONE step to foul line 3. "Low score" bowling. Get as few pins as possible, but gutters count as strikes

I think those type of balls use to be used in measuring and fitting new balls to be drilled.
