The hunting public drinking game. When they say “diversity” you must drink. When they say “bedding” you must drink. When they say “habitat diversity” You must finish your drink. Good luck and I know you won’t be able to stay sober.

Great series. I was blessed enough to hunt private family land growing up, but I’ve wanted to branch out for a couple of years now. Not gonna lie, it’s kind of intimidating. I’m in north Alabama, there’s plenty of public land but finding where to start is daunting. I think this series has helped more than anything else I’ve seen on KZbin. Keep it up guys

Btw I did come across a spot w a pond I walked the inner side of it and little behold I found a solid big buck bed each season just gets better when you do your homework and understand early season get to the water because if u live in New York most time it's still hot an muggy a big or warm enough for them to want to come drink and that's where I found the big buck bed solo by a pond that most ppl over looked and thought was dead

As a West "By God" Virginian who is in hopes of getting my first archery deer, whether doe or buck and first buck that I actually know is a buck and not a spike that I thought was a doe, I have really enjoyed this series and have learned quite a bit. I need to apply it to the property (1,000) around the house that isn't ours that we've been hunting for 25 years or so. Thanks for the series and the nice recap. Way to not let the negative comments bother you Zach, it is great to be an individual and you don't want to lose your Sampson like powers for hunting by cutting your hair. I am sure people are jealous and want to know what hair care products you use for those curls. I tried to grow my hair out once, but it got to a point and I just couldn't take it so I cut it and haven't let it go that far since. At first I was thinking that you copied Weird Al Yankovic's hairstyle (I always enjoyed his creativity and humor in his parody songs and videos) or were growing it out for locks of love, but after watching more videos I can see how it can break up your outline on a stalk and that you are a cool, kind hearted rebel that loves to share his passion of hunting whitetails and turkeys with many others and I for one appreciate what you and the THP crew do. Good luck this fall to everyone as you all have some awesome adventures chasing deer and even a couple elk. I will definitely have to get OnX if I venture out from around the house and try and find public land in WV. That E-Scouting can cut down on quite a bit of time once one gets to an area they want to hunt.

Great info here. Do you guys know of a website that updates weekly for like satellite maps where a guy could check to see what fields are planted in. I hunt a lot of public land right next to private fields. I know these areas well and would prefer to leave these areas alone. This would save me time and I wouldn't spook anything. What is planted and where it is planted will determine where I hunt and what time of the season I hunt certain spots. Just looking to leave as little scent as possible and if there was a website which updated often enough this would be helpful. Thanks guys

hey guys, would you please make a separate playlist of the mapping videos. I can’t seem to find them on your page. I guess maybe i was looking in 2018 because I thought they were from then. I don’t know maybe there are some from 2018 and 2019. Anyhow, that sure would be cool. I like all your videos but these are my favorite, its helpin me learn how to use this ON X app. Also, I don’t know if you guys ever use the chip downloaded on a Garmin, but I bought the 66i with the NC state chip so I can pin with the satelite going and also use the SOS button as I’m now mid 40’s and hunt deep in the woods alone. If you guys do use a Garmin at all, it would sure help alot if you did a video on it. The looks of the tools and whatnot are a bit different than regular onx on the phone or computer. Anyhow, thanks for all your videos, I love watching em, and even though I’ve been at the hunting game for 33 years now, I still learn alot of good stuff from your vids!!
@TheHuntingPublic5 жыл бұрын
will do! You should also be able to find them in the mean time if you go to our main channel page and select all videos. Just may need to scroll a few pages back to find last years or search "Mapping Whitetails" and most of them should pop up in the first few pages of search.

I don’t ask you cut it... I want to see Mickey Mouse buns... maybe straighten it and see how long it is... corn rows... anything. Send me the beauty salon bill. Or better yet. I’ll buy the crew and myself a hat if you do it. Yes mindy included. Great video gentlemen. I learn something new on every video.
@Makete1005 жыл бұрын
Zach, one long hair to another, don't cut your hair. It will change you, you will not hunt as good, you will not sense deer like you can now and your neck will get burnt and cold depending on the weather. Keep it long, that is who you are. As far as the pod cast went, it was great, all 5 of them. Wish it were more, or maybe it is going to be more. Oh, when is Myndi going to either be in a stand or carrying a bow?
