I remember playing this game on the Wii back when I was 10 lol, I thought it was good back then. There were a lot of issues with it, but as a kid you can look past a lot of it and have fun with the game.

I hated that they would add non cup drivers and like you said during the early 2010 era they definitely had more than 43 drivers show up for qualifying so they definitely had drivers that actually ran cup. It’s weird playing the game knowing they left out drivers like regan smith, Casey mears, Landon cassil, Dave blaney and more.

I've been playing Nascar games for almost 20 years. Nascar 09 was the first game I ever played online, and it was actually very fun. Don't recall any bad issues regarding online game play. NTG2011 was a different story. It was rough lol.

Been playing since nascar 1998-1999, so the very beginning of the start of the modern non arcade style racing that’s pretty much been the base of what we see today. There was more features in nascar heat 2000 than some of the games in the last ten years have had. And I’m sorry but I won’t support NASCAR 21 putting a game out even the supposed one day patch is to fix all these bugs (I’ve counted over 30 moderate to major bugs/issues that should NOT BE A PROBLEm) these games have fallen off and continue to look better visually but the lack of content is just pitiful. I will hold your money until this is 30-40$ with the dlc included,

I've had this game since its release and it's pretty decent. The paint booth is really good and I've made several paint schemes ranging from throwbacks to iconic cars or custom ones just for myself. The only downside is that Kyle Busch and Brian Vickers keep trying to wreck me every race.

I think it was EA Sports NASCAR 05 with Kevin Harvick on the cover was the best damn NASCAR games ever made and you started at the bottom driving the featherlights and you signed contracts throughout the whole NASCAR series. And yes NASCAR 2011 Nascar Fastlane Frontline or front-row those games were garbage

I really am disappointed that Inside Line got overshadowed by 2011, I still unironically play it today, and it's defiantly in the top 10 of NASCAR console games (which albeit that isn't too hard to get into with how much of a dud the Heat series was and the later EA games were, and hell, even the rest of the Eutechnyx games were)

I remember the graphics were bad when you were drafting and after you win a race you only had 30 seconds to do a burnout which to me was stupid. 30 seconds!? What were they thinking. Also they had every driver doing a backflip after every victory.

I had this on the Wii for a little while. Tried playing it with both the nunchuck, and tilt control, and found just about every short track virtually impossible to drive. Intermediate and Restrictor Plate tracks were fine, but I spent far too long just trying to complete a qualifying lap at Bristol without throwing my controller across the room because the car refused to turn. Really disappointed me at that age, and I put it down for good pretty soon after buying it.

This game had the craziest glitch ever where you would barely drop a wheel onto the apron and it would spin your car a complete 180 and bring out a caution even though you were nowhere near the pack

I remembered being hyped with it back in 2011 but ended up with NR2003 on a potato laptop and stuck with the keyboard. It was a bit of a dissapointment cause career node is bland and I can't be competitive with the keyboard but NOW I realize that it was all a blessing in disguise. To this day I still play NR2003 as a go to NASCAR game.

I enjoyed this game for awhile. The main thing that disappointed me was the career mode. I couldn't advance to season 2 after my rookie season. Another problem was at times whenever I would make a pit stop a caution would come out, and they'd show the replay, and it would just get stuck. I couldn't get pass it, and I had to restart my console.

I remember cautions hardly ever working, especially online. It was also a major disappointment because it only had the cup series. I can't remember if it was this one or Inside Line where the career mode was just you racing as a real driver. There was no create a driver.

I had Inside Line and it was great! I remember the amount of setup work you could do on the car was crazy, very similar to the setup screen on iRacing. 13-y/o me spent a lot of time trying to make setups works and figure out how to drive tracks on the Wii. Definitely how I learned Sonoma and Watkins Glen layouts.

There are things that you missed about NASCAR 2011 that you might not have seen when you played the game. I remember playing NASCAR 2011 and I remember how broken the game was. Whenever AI would crash the caution would come out. But whenever you get involved in a crash or spin out the caution sometimes wouldn’t come out. Everytime I reached level Ace the game would reset my progress and start over again for no reason. There was also the option to pause the game and take photos. But everytime I would try to access my photo album from the main menu the game would always freeze.

Nascar 2011 was a good game made by people who didn't know enough about the sport and the hardware they built it on to capitalize. Everything that was needed for a good stock car game was there, it just didn't work 100%. Thats a honest error and I don't hold that against the devs Nascar Heat Evo was made by people who loved the sport, but on a extreme budget and time crunch. Don't blame them for that one either. Especially considering how decent heat 4 and 5 where. Nascar 21 is made by people that should know better, with nearly infinite money,, on last gen hardware, in a engine that is famously easy to work with, and yet it doesn't have basic fundamental shit of stock car racing. Yellow flags change driving physics and AI performance, crash damage looks like a after thought, pit stops don't work and take forever, stages aren't implemented at all. All things fundamental to the experience of stock car racing, and there's no excuse for that. This game, should it release is DOA, as it the next few MSG titles and honestly, as a now ex-investor in motorsport game's, I hope they go under from this so Indycar, Lemans, Nascar and BTCC can find someone that actually gives enough of a fuck about the sport to at least get the fundamentals right. You don't play soccer on a baseball field.

Motorsports Games loves motorsports, and they listened to the fans and what the fans wanted. And they gave us what the fans wanted, they spent the limited time they had on fan requested features instead of actually building a working foundation... Right after Heat 4 had perfected that foundation And started building up from there. Heat 5 could've been Thunder 2002 levels of good but instead they caved in to all the bitching 12 year-olds and talking heads who know little to nothing about how these work. Like the limitless money factory that is EA literally took 7 years before their best NASCAR game was released.

Because you have No Public Lobbies, no feeder series, a absolutely barebones career mode, the AI physics get fucked up by yellow flags and the AI completely change as if the package is different... I could go on, but the point of the matter is they NEED to delay this game. They won't, because NASCAR won't let them, but this game is so fundamentally broken, the nice new graphics, driving physics, and theatric style don't mean shit.

I'm old enough to remember Papyrus' NASCAR Racing 4, which was so bad that you couldn't finish a 10% race at Martinsville because the AI would create a massive pile-up that would block the entire track and the game would get stuck in a perpetual yellow with the pace car plowing through piles of AI cars. :D

One thing I’ll give credit too 704, full fields, EA had a problem with it putting Busch guys in as field fillers and when they “added” the lower series 90% of them were fake triple digit driver. But the heat always gave us a solid list of drivers too pick from, also love seeing non-charter teams DNQ for races in NASCAR ‘21 pretty dope!

They had field fillers from lower series due to licensing. NASCAR games have to individually license each car and driver, and if some of the smaller teams were uncooperative, they had to find a way to fill the field

You know what was really off putting for me in NASCAR 06? Everytime someone was far behind me. My car would get uncontrollable...like either too loose or too tigh without any logical explanation. Idk if anyone else ever experienced that phenomenon.

Sometimes with there not being a full field of cup drivers, or whatever series you may be in, it's because they couldn't get the licensing to use a particular driver or car. So they make one up or use one they were able to get. Idr which heat game it was, but it had Hallie deegan in a truck when she wasn't even close to a truck ride yet. She was basically a field filler. And if you ran your own truck, or an additional truck for an existing team she would go away

Honestly if ETX fixed the netcode for NASCAR: Inside Line and beyond, the online would've been excellent since the physics were great for a console game (minus the safer barrier physics), good multi groove, fall off, etc. But they neglected to fix the netcode and sadly the game just never got a following for leagues and whatnot because of that which would've helped to keep it alive. It's safe to say we're all tired of entirely screwed up NASCAR games at this point.

The numerous glitches in this game were insane, the damage model was crap, online was trash, you had no career mode. Just so many things went wrong for this game. Eliminator racing was pretty good though. Thank god they improved for inside line. That may be the best game from the eutechnyx era.
