Several weeks ago, "Behind the Bastards" podcast had a 4-part series on Peter Thiel's early life. He was picked on by classmates. His father was some sort of engineer and his work took the family to South Africa where Peter attended an all-white school during Apartheid which seemed to suit him. 🤨 Then they moved back to the states, the bay area of California. That's where the teasing really happened. I get a new car every three years. I lease them. For me, that works out pretty well. I've had cars that I drove until they died. Repairs rise exponentially as the vehicle ages so newer vehicles are for me now. I'm 68 so don't know how many more cars are in my future. My 92yo aunt still drives. So there's that.
