Seeing Dark Shadows veteran Kathryn Leigh Scott in “A Solitary Place” was an absolute blast. In this episode, it looked like she hadn’t aged a day since she left Dark Shadows in late 1970. I believe her character’s last name was a tribute to the soap opera. Kathryn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans [contemporary, 1970 Parallel Time, and House of Dark Shadows], Josette du Pres [1795-1797], Rachel Drummond and Kitty Soames [both 1897]) was the fourth and final Dark Shadows actor in The Incredible Hulk following Lara Parker (Angelique Bouchard) in the pilot, Dennis Patrick (Jason McGuire, Paul Stoddard) in “The Antowuk Horror,” and Dana Elcar (Sheriff George Patterson) in “Escape from Los Santos.” Scott briefly rejoined the Marvel world in the Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD episode “Aftershocks” in 2015

And if he could speak, I think he would have walked over to the man and apologize from the bottom of his heart. That's what David would have done and so that's what the Hulk would have done.

There’s more heart in a five minute clip of Bill Bixby aiming for the fences with his emotional portrayal of Bruce Banner and Lou Ferrigno’s intense physical presence as the Hulk than the two hour + CGI spectacles we have been witnessing. Imagine if Bixby to time travel to modern times and resume his role as Banner in the MCU. How much of his great work would be lost in a sea of middle of the road, cookie cutter nonsense glossed over with a CGI coat of paint?

I appreciate both. The TV show really highlighted Bixby's dramatic chops, and Lou's incredible use of body language. But at the same time, as a fan of the Hulk comics, I love that the MCU can show what Hulk is really capable of and not have to tone him down so severely.

Classic Hulkout, I always liked Katherine Lee Scott. She was on the classic vampire series Dark Shadows. I think her character's last name of Doctor Collins was a nod to the characters in Dark Shadows, Abigail Collins, Barnabas Collins, ect.
