Just wanted to clear it up, because I failed to mention this just like I did with The Front lol, PVE servers are available for those who do not want to fight other players. It is not strictly PVP. Even in PVP servers, the way the combat works is pretty unique, you can learn more about it here: www.oncehuman.game/wiki.html?art_id=7&t=wiki It actually seems like engaging in the "Chaos" state (PVP) is pretty risky considering you're up against everyone else, who also cannot fight each other, so it's the server vs your team if you decide to try and raid somebody. I think I'm understanding that correctly haha.

This game is heavily inspired by so many different things: The monsters are similar to the monsters created by Trevor Henderson (creator of Sirenhead), the environments of the game, with big blocks of stone, and strange liminal spaces, are partially inspired by the game Control (a game by the creators of Alan Wake). The character design, especially the scientists reminds me of Lost Planet, while the cradle he's wearing is similar to the device that holds the baby in Death Stranding. It's like a combo of 10 different games and ideas.

The dev´s have already earned a ton of credits for being extraordinarily creative at the enemy design. The world design itself fits perfectly into the setting and the illusion of a living world is already quite immersive. And this is something where so many open world games failed big time, to give the player the feeling he is literally in a living world. Deserves to keep an eye on.

Waaaait, if you think about it, the bus creature does exactly what a bus is for: it travels and stops occasionally to let passengers get in or out. What if this is the case with all the mutated creatures? Maybe behaviors are based on the item/animal/human they originally were? That would require extremely versatile scripting, but damn it would be so cool. Also: This is a game were Choo Choo Charles would be one of the more harmless looking fellas.

I would love a survival horror where your only objective is to keep moving west. You can travel during the day but then once night starts getting closer you need to do your best to fortify an abandoned house or barn or whatever and just hide while creatures come out during the night, but if you stay for more than one or two nights, they’ll find you and kill you

This just proved to me that the internet does not know what liminal spaces are and the word itself is being transformed into something it's not. As an anthropologist, I'm appalled by this, and as a horror fan, all I see in the game is it still doesn't know what its identity is. Seriously? Doing a badass walk after slaying a Siren Head? That's more action comedy than horror. Plus the ambience and environment just do not match. I do love the presentation of the monsters tho. Anyway, IMHO, this isn't a horror game. Okay, this game looks so fucking AWESOME! I love the direction it goes, with cosmic horror, Great Ones, and modern horror monster like Sirenhead. It also literally looks amazing. Definitely one of the best looking new games I've seen in a while. Is it a Chinese game? The subtitles in some dialogue scenes and HUD are in Chinese, and it certainly looks like one of those Chinese or Korean games, you know, the really *good* ones. Seriously, those guys know how to make beautiful games. The only problem with artistic decisions I have is the ridiculous, over the top articulation of the player character. It's sooo exaggerated. Skilly was soooo quiet in the beginning of the video I didn’t even know he was in it😂 When IGP had to pull the dagger out of his chest, I legit thought the character said press f to pull dagger and thought he sounded like Skilly, but realized a lil after that it actually was his ass🤣

this is the new secret world mmo, where secret world was like all myths coming into being. this MMO is like all the lates new horror stories and top popular horror elements instead. I loved secret world but it died as some mmo's do so this looks like a really cool new MMO I really want to try out.
