I grew up in Huntsville TX. Every time we had an escape, I was always amazed to hear the clever ways these got loose. My favorite was one guy walked right out the front door. Staff would flip their id badge so that prisoners couldn’t see their info. Medical staff wore green scrubs. This dude dyed his white prison wear using green highlighters, flipped his inmate id and walked right out the front door.

Yep, usually the human element is the weakest point - in any type of security
@LetsPlayBojangles2 жыл бұрын
100% The most secure systems involve rotating groups of guards to different parts of the prison on a daily basis to keep attachments from forming. Also, having someone not reporting to the prison like a state or federal employee audit footage at random and have the guards understand this is happening to keep the idea out of their head. Still not 100% infallible but it makes escape exponentially harder if you can't form a bond with a guard, or even know the next time you will see them.

37:34 State Police carry AR 15s which I assumed this was as well, but it turns out USBP does indeed issue fully auto suppressed M4s in the United States. If anyone is wondering, the only differences are the typical SBR nature of the M4 (which you can do with an AR in many states) and the Fire Control Group. In short there's one more part in an auto that's not there in an AR 15. AR 15 bolts themselves are full auto compatible, because it doesn't make a difference without that auto sear (and the ability to select it).

There is no connection to those images and any artists named David Sweat or Richard Matt... In reality, painting takes many years of concentration, and a very stable upbringing with supportive parents. Prison isn't any of those..

If Infographics Show replaced their clickbait garbage with accurate titles akin to Wikipedia, they’d have a legacy of many timeless pieces and be largely reputable. This was amazing and deserves a wider name recognition. I don’t think Mitchell is suing you. After what she got duped by and the lies she maintains, she calls Ben Stiller a “liar” and “an idiot”. You’ll be fine.

What makes no sense in their planning was heading to Canada. There is a strong extradition treaty between the two countries and the Canadians will look for you. Indeed, at that time the Mounties were alerted and had set up a perimeter. I personally know a Canadian border cop and she said that there is a friendly agreement on both sides that if either catches a bad guy wanted on the other they'll just hand him over quietly to avoid the paperwork, even if they're only dragging a limp body across the line.

There's a TV miniseries about this escape called ‘Escape at Dannemora’ starring Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette, and Paul Dano. I highly recommend it!!!

This sounds like a cross between 'Prison Break' and 'Escape from Alcatraz'.
