Boba Fett actually was working for Vader in ESP. His payment was Han Solo who he delivered to Jabba. Solo was a spice smuggler for the gangster and as the empire had little power in the outer rim there’s not much Vader would/could do with Han.

Anyone ever thought the plot of Star Wars is semi similar to that of the American Revolution (Rebel alliance) vs The British Empire (Empire). Most of the rebels in it have American accents; a lot of the empire on the other hand have an English one. Haha only slight similarities though of course just an interesting perspective

@@50megatondiplomat28 If you think about it, completely atomizing a target would be a really bad idea. If you can bring someone in dead or alive, how are you going to prove that you caught them if they're a pile of ash? DNA identification would be out of the question since that's a molecule that would be ripped apart.

A question then actually. Since the age of privateer-style freelancers (Navy Militants), and even Wild-West bounty hunters are long gone, do most modern agents come from the detective or military sector? On one hand, being trained in proper combat + being very fit means subduing would be second nature. But detectives would know how to track someone + know state law inside-out. Edit: Based on what I've read online, the answer is a healthy dose of both. But it's an interesting question never the less. What's your experience with that?

Nevada BEA agent here. The official tittle of bounty hunters is Bail Enforcement Agents. I’ve been doing it professionally since 2009. Half this vid info is inaccurate. 1 Example if a lady comes at you hitting you for arresting her son. We do have the authority to arrest on the grounds of physical assault. Yes the laws change from state to state but we can still arrest anywhere in the US regardless of the state law since we’re agents of the Supreme Court. Therefore no other court can overrule that EVER. They can try all they want but federal law will always outperform state & local courts. I’ve had cases where I arrest people right after the judge releases them in the very same court room, basically disregarding the judge’s ruling. It’s a fun job but a lot to know in regards of the law

Wait Boba didn't protect Grogu (baby Yoda). That was another Mandalorian bounty hunter named Din Djarin. 😄 Also Boba did work with the authorities (Galactic Empire). Bounty hunters have several techniques at their disposal to track down and bring fugitives to justice. Tools such as people search, background check and criminal records search, skip tracking, IP address locator, and many other cost-effective tools really help bounty hunters to retrieve fugitives back. The more information you have about someone’s network of acquaintances, the faster you’ll be able to track them down.

We reached a peak in the second quarter of 2020 and are currently at the median level. From 2008 to 2012, it fell by 3%, and in the second quarter of 2020, it dropped from 68 to 65.

So in a nutshell, "bounty hunting" is best described in the old west style. I.E. That transitional period between a mercenary and someone who tracks down bail-runners. (I.E. It's not uncommon for them to mock an argument for not being philosophically rigorous when it's not trying to be. It is specifically aimed at bad, low quality apologetics. AND as I was typing this, you touched on it at the end. It's possible for a philosophically bad argument to actually be quite good at exposing the ridiculousness of another bad argument. In a manner those not well read can understand and be persuaded by.
