After I add the Boolean, the back of the room is cutout. I try messing with the z measurement but the box room is either completely filled with the other box or completely hollow.

Hmm, I would double check that you've got the two boxes set up correctly. Here are the settings that have been changed: _Box 1_ Size: 1 1 2 _Box 2_ Size: 0.99 0.99 2 Center: 0 0 0.1 Box 1 should be connected to the first input of the Boolean SOP, and Box 2 to the second input. With the Boolean SOP's Operation parameter set to A minus B, you should see the same results as the video. Hope that helps!
