What's going on, SZG? It's your boy Sonikku here, today we got ourselves another Sonic sprite battle animation to react to, it's a fight that we've seen before from my boy SpacePea, but another sprite animator is doing this one.

This fight is defintely a unique one out of all the fights between Shadic VS Metallix, mainly due to the forms used in this fight that weren't used in other versions, this is undoubtedly one of the best versions of this fight! Y'all are going to love this, enjoy!

I like when knuckles said it was an Emulation, he's basically saying that it isn't the real Hyper form, but rather just a fake version of Hyper form, where it's got the speed and strength of the form, but isn't the actual thing, just like the False Super saiyan form Goku had in one of the db movies

So I was told that the green barrier knuckles is from sonic & sega all star racing Update: it IS from sonic & sega all star racing, not from the Archie comics. It’s a power up knuckles has called emerald knuckles, it’s exclusive only to knuckles since he’s the master emerald guardian. Emerald knuckles can either be stronger than super OR hyper depending how much power he takes from the master emerald itself. This is all from dedgrafic in a community post.

Aye bro, to clear up your confusion on the characters that Shadow was thinking to and the one on the top left is called Hero Super Shadow so when Shadow went Hero after they fused they unlocked a new form called Hero Super Shadic and then Metallix combined Metal Sonic’s Maxium Overdrive Power-up with his Super Form basically.
