when the shoe is warm, and u step on a pebble u get an airhole for ventilation aswell!

Not really the case. No shoe will wear trough the sole faster than the edge.

@@alexbarcovsky4319 That depends on what part of the shoe is getting the abuse. Hit something pointy with those thin section of the sole and you’re gonna have as bad day.

I have to assume part of it is so that you can easily tell which specific shoe a sponsored athlete is wearing from afar But climbing has always been a pretty colourful sport
