Love the amount of dedication you show for your work. You see a slight imperfection and say “Nuh uh we can do better.” Lol, gives me a lot of confidence in eventually ordering a model from you

@TheFluBugZАй бұрын
Yeah... make sure you mix the proper amounts together. Having worked with epoxy and resin at work, you need to make sure the parts are in proper measurements to the other. If they aren't they'll either set far to quickly or will never really set.

Hey, just got my new printer from anycubic and had similar issues, my recommendation from my similar issue on leveling is 2 things; treat it like a tire; go loose fit from side to side, then once everything’s loose tight, get it really tight. And second off, try messing with the base values in the slicer.
@Harry-cj3yuАй бұрын
You are both an inspiration and currently being used as an example by my wife as to why I shall not be getting a 3d printer anytime soon lol. You're awesome keep up the amazing work

As far as an ADHD sink for hobbies, it's a never ending thing. It's the hyper fixation to end all. I can't stop. The projects change, but the printing keeps going. And im just filming what ever I'm doing. And now I'm making money from KZbin and tiktok. For just doing what I was already doing! Stuff just keeps falling into place. It's a PROBLEM 🤣

The runny stuff is the activator? You probably had some old resin in the old one.. never mix batches of resin. Try spritzing some part b on Yor with a clean spay bottle

One of your build plates for your resin printer looks warped (the one with the masked character that had the separation issue). That plate looks bowed in the middle which would explain the issues you're having.
@FreyasFantasysАй бұрын
Well, it is over a year old. But how could the metal warp it's so thick
@edgargad2941Ай бұрын
@@FreyasFantasys if that printer is constantly printing in the same spots the forces influenced on the surface (heating, cooling, expansion, contraction) will eventually deform it. Think of it like death by a thousand cuts.

Can you use a small hot scalpel to fix this like they do with 3D pens or is this material not as forgiving?

It's surprisingly hard to control melted plastic. U push it but it does not really smooth. It's like cake frosting. But u only have a knife 0.25 inches wide. No flat edge. Now try and make a smooth cake with that. It's somehow impossible
@spitefirespartangamingАй бұрын
Actually you are correct it does hate the primer thats why its bubbling it doesnt like smooth surfaces, try scuffing it with 120 before you apply it next time.
@FreyasFantasysАй бұрын
Oh really? Well thank you! That's the mistery solved. It does not work over primer. Got it
@spitefirespartangamingАй бұрын
ive never worked with that certain resin before but thats what happends when i put some resin over some types of primer, resin gets hot when it drys causing the primer to react and producing gas which gets trapped in bubbles, it can happin with paints to. Alot of times i have trouble when its a lacquer base paint or primer

Kinda looks like when fresh paint gets contaminated on a car and u get fish eyes
@FreyasFantasysАй бұрын
Maybe. It's more that it's self smoothing, so it's contracting, but it's not viscous enough to hold it's surface tension. So it honey combs

There is a VERY BIG internal struggle in me. Cause right now, the printer size stops me from going to big. And that's a good limit. But if I get the bigger printer... What's stopping me? And then I'm just going bigger, and bigger! So it's kinda... Intentionally limiting myself to save me from myself

That leads to pock marks and damage to the figure. It will definitely lead to less failures, but clothes with a texture will suffer. 😮💨 it's a trade off
