I used tech screws on the upper shock mount in and nc like, it was a patch job on the side of the road but thats how it stayed for years till i scraped it.

Bagged a v8 dl Ltd same colour about ten years ago. Sunroof. On 20s. Was a nice car. I turned my goose neck upside down so I could drag towballs hahah. Let’s catch up dude so we can talk about these things. I’ll send you some picks. I did the rear a bit differant. But the front mostly the same.

Hey mate, looks awesome. Just one thing. I had issues with my old bagged ute with thread tape getting into the air lines. I only use hydrolic thread sealant on air fittings now and it works flawlessly. But yeah great job love it !

I saw on 4wd canopy build the guy bought a cheap ($60 I think) universal Bluetooth operated 4x relay block for his lights. Wouldn't be hard to adapt it for phone control. Love the content keep it coming cheers

Live the early 90s Fairlanes I had a 1992 NC GHIA for over 10 years, it had nearly 600,000km on its it's original factory untouched 5.0 Great motors to, roller cam EFI 5.0 took holdens 7 years to catch up with a roller cam v8 My NC was on dual fuel aswell same as yours But yeh love these cars, full American look

Shame so many people rip the factory system out. I was trying to find one with it still there but no luck yet! It's pretty easy to bypass the sensors and raise/lower any factory air suspension. It is exy though so don't blame you.

I see none of it was simple but with the rear IRS and the same struts you used at the front should work in the rear but cutting off the brackets and welding on. Out of interest, what model strut did you use in the front?

I wouldn’t use these struts for this application again man, if I had my time again I would look at something like “shockwave” air struts, they are still a bag over shock setup but with eyelets top and bottom, I think they be far easier to adapt and fabricate brackets for... the IRS would look sick once the AU is laid out 👌🏻

Yeah mate, the upper control arm bolts in the same as the e series arm except you need to knock out the ball joint and have spacer machined up to slip into the same hole, with a tapered allocation hole to take the e series ball joint. If you have both arms on a bench in front of you, you’ll understand pretty quickly what I’m talking about! 👍🏼
