Man what a time to be alive to know that history is being made all around us in the theme park world. First Epic Universe opening up in my home state of Florida the UK finally getting its tallest roller coaster in almost thirty years after The Big One and then of course SW9 at Alton towers along with the Nemesis retrack. It just keeps getting better and better.

I can't believe I went to Thorpe Park for the first time in 1985, and Loggers Leap wouldn't have been there then! I feel so old 😭😭😫 Anyway, great work Jack, can't wait to see the double down demolished, hopefully it goes down in one piece sideways, "Son of Beast" style!!!

The indoor drop although is small if made that entire dark section feel so fast I loved it but it always scared me as a kid 😂

Jack also with saw the ride on seeing the new Mack hyper you will also have a good view from after colossus lift hill the turn around before the 1st inversion, you could also probably get a decent view as well

That's insane how fast they've cleared parts of Logger Leap! Yeah, with SAW: The Ride it looks so exposed, just to think that last year, it was completely surrounded by trees! It'll be interesting to ride now when the park opens up again in late March! Lol, yeah, I got that RCT3 reference, I still play it it's a classic game!

First drop is now gone as well as most of the ride apart from the double down so I'm starting to think is the double down gonna be refurbished and relocated to like the car park entrance or move it where slammer is!

Saw the ride is so uncomfortable that I skip it next time I visit the park. I got off with a neck and head injury. But it is a thing most Gerstlauers have sadly. A re-track and new trains would be better. Maybe replace it for a Zierer Towering coaster. Those are smoother and more comfortable. Saw the Ride is such a bad ride in terms of rider comfort... Not worth the wait. The smoothest two coasters in the park are Nemesis and Stealth. Even The Swarm has a nasty rattle to it. And the junior coasters in the park are a bit janky as well. But no, SAW the ride was the worst coaster I have ever ridden, and I rode a good 500. Even a Zamperla Volare was more comfortable then SAW... Sorry. This is my opinion.

swarm does not have a rattle? it didnt last year for me at least and i thought saw was riding well

@@asterisKs1 We were there in October and it had a nasty rattle to it. The trains were shaking a lot. So I hope that it did not have anything to do with train maintenance. And I have done my fair share of wingcoasters, but I only felt this rattle at The Swarm. Could be a bad day for the Swarm. It was running on reduced capacity also, cause like a third of both trains were sealed off with red tape for people that could not sit in certain seats. So I hope it aint that. I did not want to wait another 3 hours due to the reduced capacity.

if you had said the same thing a year ago i would’ve agreed with you. somehow i had only ever ridden saw on the front row, and as much as i loved the overall ride, i couldn’t get over the roughness of it. this fright nights we sat in the back row for once, let me tell you it was amazing!! instantly became my favourite ride in the park!! not rough at all but still extremely intense. went on to ride it another 3 times that day, the last of which being front row (that still unfortunately remains very rough). thorpe will probably eventually do a gradual re track to saw, like i believe they are doing to colossus? this most likely won’t happen for a while though, but at least saw is still rideable, unlike colossus which i avoid completely😂.

@@camimiole Do you know how Arrow Dynamics used to produce their tracks? Gerstlauer is still using that method, while vekoma, B&M, MACK and Intamin are using laser technology to bend cut all the steel for their tracks for smoother ride experiences.
