Shalom. Thanks for watching. Modestly laws are very important for Jews. Unfortunately most of our Nation is not observant which is something that we need to fix to once more be called the Holy Nation.

To every one who understand hebrew he know that the ceremony all the parts are said in the secular or orthodox Jewish wedding. All of them from the begining to the end MAST execute like this but the film maker deside what to show or what to empsice *seance the groom was high officer in the army, the higher officer (Rabbi) and his own soldiers blessed him too. *all the singings by the guests was part of the prays (they know them byheart) the person said the pray again after them.

In Israel, if you’re a combat soldier who’s been issued a weapon, anytime you’re in uniform, on or off base, you’re required to carry it. There’s compulsory military service in Israel and it’s a totally normal sight to see young soldiers, men and women, with their weapons in malls, restaurants and especially public transportation heading home or back to base on weekends.

No they do not fast 25 hours!! some have the custom to fast from the morning till the ceremony. 25 hours is for YOM KIPPUR :)
@TheJewishConvert
@TheJewishConvert 2 жыл бұрын
Its true. Most have the custom to fast from Dawn untill the ceremony in Orthodoxy. There are also some that fast like Yom Kippur and Tisha Be Av for 25 hours because your wedding day is seen as a Yom Kippur for the couple as all there sins are forgiven on the day because they become one flesh so basically a new entity. If you get married between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur you dont have to fast since the 3rd of Tishrei is a Fast Day and Yom Kippur is a fast day. Shabbat Shalom

@belmarmom
@belmarmom 2 жыл бұрын
Ultra Orthodox Jews tend to use an opaque covering. Others use either a single or a double blusher. It's a matter of custom and preference. Her face is covered as a sign of modesty. It dates back to Biblical times when Rebecca veiled herself when she met Isaac for the first time.

Befor the ceremony she is available to every another males. To avoid this interfering situation until she married she coverd The "cover" is symbolic. The ultra orthodox are creizy group that popped up 250 years ago. Today we have a new ultra ultra orthodox that called Lev Tahor They are super duper creizy we don't take creizy groups in a count at all. During the history We always have new crazy groups. We have meny kinds of ultra creizy groups.

1. Represents the sheva brachot or 7 blessings and is meant to act as a seal of protection that a bride puts around her groom. It's mostly an ashkenazi custom. 2. Jews don't write his name in vain as they don't say it either. There are other names used
@chanitalevitz4945

I'm not sure about the 7 times, but just like HaShem means the name and is not His name we don't spell out His name and prefer the same in any language.

Shalom Kate. Please see the comment below from Chana Bayla1's for the answer to your questions. The Torah tells us not to use G-d Name in vain and thus we don't spell it out in any language. This is a stringency and not a must except for the Hebrew spelling for Hashem which is forbidden to write because there is a commandment in the Torah that says you shall not erase The Name (Hashem) of your G-d.

What is the difference between Orthodox Jewish Wedding and a Jewish Wedding?
@TheJewishConvert
@TheJewishConvert Жыл бұрын
Shalom. Most Jews unfortunately is not religious. They will however do all the rituals as they are still very traditional. They will not fast however and they will have mixed dancing which is not allowed in Orthodox Judaism. Orthodox Judaism was a name given to us by Reform and Conservative. Before these movements about 300 years ago there was only one Judaism which is currently called Orthodox Judaism. Unfortunately many Reform communities marry men with men and women with women which is clearly against Torah Law. Orthodox thus view any conversions or marriages by these movements null and void.

@@TheJewishConvert I thank you for your explanation of the differences. Can I ask like way back, what if Jews did not have two sinks, not enough room to have dishes for this and dishes for that meal etc in their home but still classed themselves as Orthodox Jews. Would that be okay as people can not help their lack of money to buy/ build houses like this.

The Jewish Wedding mirrors the Catholic teachings on salvation. Genesis: God’s will begins with love, a marriage between the bride,(A Queen Mother-Gebirah) and bridegroom, a King and Melchizedeken Priest, and Lord of the earth, in a garden, with 4 rivers, trees and fruits, man and woman walking with God in perfect friendship and original holiness (no sin) REVELATIONS: :It culminates with man and woman walking again with God in perfect friendship and Holiness (no sin), with the Tree of Life, with 12 fruits for 12 months, the 1 river of life flowing from the tree of Life in the garden, with the marriage of the Lamb of God - the Bridegroom, and His bride, the church, the New Woman (Maryam) who is the Queen Mother-Gebirah and the New Man (Yeshua) who is the Highest Melchizedeken Priest and King of Kings, Lord of Lords.
