Jo, you should take your loafers to a shoe repairer and see if they can fix them for a decent price. My partner is getting leather Lacoste sneaker repaired (hole where stitching is on the outside) and was white $15 to restitch the hole!

Your collection is beautiful. I am enjoying them vicariously as my slim footed mother used to tell me that I have feet like a percheron (large workhorse with hooves like pie plates). Great collection and you deserve the special Beautiful Valentino shoes. It is such a different feeling when our kids are grown its our "Me time" still buy for my grown kids and always for my grand babies but I love nice things too sometimes a little too much.
