Diverse yet highly ignored. Most of the invertebrates are undescribed. Not forgetting the threats from deforestation and smugglers and increasing human population.

You’re getting super amazing shots with your ‘proboscis’ . I bet if you randomly stuck it under the leaf litter you would be able to capture some neat critters, maybe even a new species. You might also be able to get good clips of the fauna that live in and around epiphytic plants, like bromeliads and orchids.

@@TheJungleDiaries there's a tree near the harpy eagle nest at Refugio Amazonas that's covered in them. More than one species living right under the bark! I'm sure the probe lens would get the coolest perspective and angle. I would love to go back there. And I'm sure the harpy nest has a whole community of tiny unique organisms that would be cool to film if you're willing to climb up there and risk getting attacked by a huge raptor hahaha
