"The Justin Root Show"- Serial killer survivor Jennifer Asbenson

In 1992 Jennifer Asbenson was kidnapped and tortured by a serial killer. She is the only one of eight women to survive. I reached out to her on a whim and was beyond honored that she trusted me with her story. We spoke for an hour so it was very difficult to choose which elements and details to keep in the final interview. I hope I've done her harrowing story justice. Amazing story of perseverance. It's a damn shame that she had to live alone with the terror for 5 years whilst no one believed her story. The only thing the scumbag killer seemed to do right in his life was to validate her ordeal and bring her some long overdue peace and justice. Would have been cool to hear what she did with her life after she put the pieces back together (career, family ect), regardless it was a good interview, thanks for sharing.
