I might be the minority here idk but I’m really glad this one didn’t have FOW, you do a really good job giving a great idea of what people are doing when you play but I like being able to just see.

I like both, personally. Being able to 'just see' does help a lot with trying to understand why someone attacked wherever they did (like their other border is pressured, or they have an understanding with their neighbor already). But the FoW also makes things interesting in that you can't 'just see' what is happening. You are relying on intuition on tactics and game mechanics, which sometimes (rarely) Pete gets completely wrong and makes for quite the twist. It'll be a sad day when Pete retires either setting.

@@connorskudlarek8598 I don’t mind fow I think I got Pete’s channels mixed up but seems like recently it’s been a lot of fow matches. Was just glad for no fow I just find it a bit more entertaining being able to see what the other people are doing while I’m watching is all. I don’t want Pete to retire either option.

Just finished a 4 hr long game being the underdog, no bonuses 150 troops, the other 4 had bonuses and the two top players had 750 troops.. I ended up winning the game.. omg thats the sickest game Ive ever played so far

I’ve been grinding fixed capitals with only blizzards on. Got up to top 60 at the end of last season. Currently just inside the top 300. Counsil Seta is my tag in game. I just lost my capital today on a risky cap choice. Stuck it out and built back up from nothing. I found a a great hoomie like green was in this game. He advanced my cause all game long. It broke my heart when I had to kill him in the 1v1.

Hey, I'm no Pete, but imo the 1st rounds u should be focusing on a few things. 1) where your troops are/where you'd like to get them 2) Add troops on to your strongest position 3) Realize what troops can't be saved, and use those to take a card instead of just "losing" them. 4)Then Consolidation/Split stacks, Depending on the board and start trying to take ur bonuses or play the "float" long game!

once other players saw you attacking white and slowly expanding into Russia like a boss, they knew it was time to attack white.. so even tho Green led the charge, it was actually you slowly expanding (and white attacking black from Italy) that pushed everyone into action IMO!

He was trying to give green a higher placement than blue. The going theory is that in situations like this where neither player dies, the player with the most amount of troops gets the higher placement.
