keep it up Coop, doing great with the channel. This one looks to be done(?) what's next? more mods or new project? Looks like the from the last two videos you dropped, the corvette or the TBSS is in for an upgrade.

Hey, thank you!! I think the truck is done for now. I just wanna drive it and enjoy it. In a year or two I'm definitely turboing it though. The trailblazer keeps breaking down, even being stock. So it deserves no love from me 😅😅 but next weekend I am getting the cats cut out of it, tuned, and getting some rollers filmed. I still have a few build videos of the truck to post. Putting an LNC2000 2step on the corvette. Eventually I wanna wrap it and do alot of body mods to look like the C5R race car from the early 2000s. Also on the 1st I'm dropping the truck off to shave the 3rd brake light, and fix the dent on the roof. While its at paint, im gonna reassemble my other corvette, I bought it wrecked, and its been sitting in my dads barn for the last 5 years. Either gonna set it up for the drift track, and really learn how to drive. Or I might lift it with big offroad tires and best the crap out of it haha. Not sure just yet. Thank you for the support though!

@@TheKingCoopa, good to hear you still got plans for the truck as well as your other toys. I have a truck very similar (stock tho) to yours but here on Oahu, we got no track anymore, just for looks. Still fun to wrench and you guys make us motivated to keep going, aloha bradda

(YT flagged your comment for some reason) That's awesome though! Nothing wrong with stock! Everything I have is modified, so sometimes it's really nice to drive the wife's explorer. Quiet and great on gas hahaha. That's sweet you're from Hawaii! I had a few Marine Corps buddies that were out there for a little bit. One day we will visit, you will have to give us a tour of all the local spots haha.

First off thank you for the content. Been a fan of your build and was wondering when you’d get this one finished. I have some questions though. Is the 4.10 holding it back? What’s the compression ratio? Is your tune 100% there? What fuel are you using? I think theres alot of hidden power in that motor. I hope you can find someone who can squeeze all the N/A juice out of it before you think of boosting it. P.S go supercharger!
@TheKingCoopaАй бұрын
Hey, sorry for the late reply. I appreciate the support! I had 3.73s before (With 22s) and that thing was SLOW. I swapped to the 4.10s and it really woke it up in my opinion. The LQ9 compression ration is 10.1:1. I had the heads milled .015. so not exactly sure on the compression ration, but it should be around a 10.5:1. I'm running 93 octane, and the tune has been pretty good so far, with no issues. Could it be tuned more or better? possibly. but there isn't anyone that is close, that I trust with my truck. I would really like more power, it's fun, but the truck is also pretty heavy. and after a few hits of NOS, it's fun, but I really don't like it. Thanks for the support!!

Are you confident in the dyno operator's tuning skills? He didn't seem very confident from what little I saw.
@TheKingCoopa7 ай бұрын
Yea, I can definitely see your point, with how I edited it haha. I've gone to the other local tuners, who were "recommended". Fensler is by far a better tuner and mechanic than anyone else within an hour radius of me. He also has good prices and takes the time to explain everything to you, and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking newbie questions.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I had to contact a local gm parts distributer. they can search every warehouse in the country. they had to ship them in. but they are still out there with the factory GM part number. its been a few years, so I'm sorry, but I don't have the part numbers anymore

The quadrasteer shares the same bed harness as a dually. It plugs into the distribution box at the back of the frame.

@@somebodyyouusetoknow4532 not really. The power is great, but I really don't like nitrous. Its a pain, hard on the motor, and waiting 30min for the bottle to heat up is ridiculous. Im over it already, and should have went turbo 😅
@morganpowell29996 ай бұрын
No worries my guy, you’re making a lot more power than what you think. I bet you’re making close to 600 at the crank easy. You’re losing at least 25% of your power just in your drive train .
@TheKingCoopaАй бұрын
Hey, sorry for the late reply. I appreciate it! I'd say at least 25% if not 30%
@morganpowell29996 ай бұрын
It should have a faster 0-60 time though right? With it in awd? I know every one of the new gm trucks whether it be 5.3 or 6.2, when it’s in 4wd it cuts at least a few tenths, if not a whole second of the 0-60 time.
@TheKingCoopaАй бұрын
I sure hope so. I haven't been able to do any testing yet, been working out some issues. I did notice, swapping from 2wd to AWD, I could feel the drivetrain loss.

So im wondering so i got 2003 chevy cat eye its only got like a 2inch drop in the rear which its only 2x4 and we are trying to keep the wait down since if i just have a good set of tires it hooks and goes but i feel like if mabye if you end up not putting more power down then that extra weight from the 4wd might help make it feel faster
@matthewcason59627 ай бұрын
And also my uncle had a corvette which he just twin turboed but he is only 2x4 and even though his car is pushing like 800 around their and with just street tires he can still hook it does spin though after like 80 100 it stops spinning but idk 4wd adds weight and depending on what you do mabye the 4wd being canceled might help make it faster and that's a lit of weight lose to
@TheKingCoopa7 ай бұрын
For sure. There are so many variables when it comes to racing, and power to weight ratio. I have 345s on the back. 2wheel drive it would just spin the tires like crazy. (But it was also 40 or 50 degrees out) the road is cold, and the tires are cold. In the summer time it will hook better. But swapping to AWD, I can get out of the hole quicker, and launch really well. But like you said, its more weight, and more drivetrain lose. So its slower on the big end. I've always wanted it to be AWD, regardless of the speed or 1/4mi times. For you, I'd probably recommend just getting a stickier tire and keeping it 2x4. Its alot simpler and easier to work on and setting up the suspension for racing. And you can still burnout with it. Not sure if I answered your question, but I hope that helps!
@matthewcason59627 ай бұрын
@@TheKingCoopa yeah I guess it's more of what you like I would of liked my truck 4wd because sometimes even though it's lowered I can still offroaf a little bit mainly just driving in the sand but yeah I get what your saying that extra pull out the hole is good which yeah it just all depends on what you like and if it helped in whatever your trying to compete in

For sure, also the front frames are different from the 2wd and 4x4s. They dont have the mounting points for the front diff. I've seen some guys weld on the mounts, but most people just do a whole frame swap

post some Google Dragy App numbers. from no prep or raw street. thats what "street is all about" Dyno is for tuning... its a shop tool.. sure like what you have done and would love to see your daily... have a 2002, RCSB... 5.3L. And have lots of Mods in my heart... noticed your ride porpoising while cruising in this video... wondered what was the caused it and if could be tuned out?...
@TheKingCoopa7 ай бұрын
Hey, I took it out and did two pulls with the dragy. The dragy wasn't sync'd to my account, so it didn't record them. (I had to log out, and log back in to fix the issue). Its been in the 30s and snowing the last two weeks. Here soon when it warms up I'll get it out and make a few hits, and post the video. The porposing started after I did the 6in rear drop. It's either from the flip kit, or the street scene shocks. I hate it. Very annoying on the highway. For now I just wanna drive it and enjoy it. But I guess I'll wait for the rear end to blow up, then I'll probably swap to a 14 bolt, or a 9in rear end. Also go with 4 link bars, and coilovers in the rear. That should fix the problem and ride way better. Thanks for the support!

Hey, you must have missed that part where were wen't able to go to full redline, and it was also being ran in 2nd gear because of the driveshaft limitations. So the dyno reading was way off and not accurate. I have to show the good and the bad times, not everything goes smoothly. Also not all dynos are the same. They are calibrated differently. One dyno might read drastically higher or lower than a different dyno. They are a tuning tool. Regardless of all that, I also own an LS2. Rated at 400hp to the crank from the factory. So roughly around 350whp. You're not gaining almost 200hp from just heads and a high ram. Especially when the high ram doesn't make full power untill 7k-8k rpms. A sbe LS2 is not going to handle 8k rpms. You also need to factor in that my truck has a built 4l80 and a transfer case. It has substantial drivetrain loss compared to that LS2. Thanks for the comment and your support, let me know when you find a link to this 544whp.
