Stuffed Fables Painting: Lumpy

are you going to finish the full set of miniatures for Stuffed Fables? these are the best videos I've seen so far and I'd like some tips on painting all of them!

Enjoying your videos - one thing about lighting, since you mentioned not getting to see the true highlight on your mini while it's wet - yes, the work lights in our hobby can be very harsh. One way to get a good preview is with a tabletop makeup mirror. It can give you good even lighting and many allow you to preview it under different colors - warm white (incandescent), cold white (flourescent), true white (sunlight).

Great job, can't pin down exactly what it is that I like so much on this guy, but, Love it! Maybe it's the subtlety.

Thank you, I'm glad you like him! For me what makes the miniature is 3 things, the upturned eyebrows, large round eyes, and giant meat tenderizer. Not a single thing, but those 3 combined are fantastic :D His overhanging stomach is pretty good too though. To me, it's little sculpt design choices like this that really sell these.

You know what, I think you have the right idea - buy games for your kids that have miniatures, so that you can then paint the miniatures :D Everyone wins haha.

Hahah right on! So we've played through Story 1 and then I stole all the miniatures :D I tend to do that with most of the games I have

Loving this. Im going to be startig this myself soon and this is really helpful. Are there plans to do Mongrel anytime soon as thats the one Im starting with. I know its a bit creepy but Im doing the Mongrels all rusty
