It's lowest average was 9.8 to 10.0 million viewers per week during during Seasons 7-8. Season 9 garnered 11.4 million per week. Seasons 2-6 averaged 11.1 to 13.9 million viewers per week. The show has been nominated for an Emmy, NAACP Image Award, People's Choice Award and an ADG for Excellence in Production Design. Lastly, was featured in major magazines like Time and The New York Times. This show was a hit out of the gates.

Definitely! Nothing more needs to be said about Kevin James and Jerry stiller, but Leah remini as Carrie was perfect, she was hilarious and could easily hold her own story line without the other two. All 3 of them were so good

@@paperinik69 hello yes my comment might sound stupid to the people that were old enough to watch it while the show ran and was producing episodes on air in the early 2000’s however I was not, the most that I got to watch of king of queens was maybe one or two episodes after school back in 2015, however the reason why I say it is underrated is because with my generation all u hear about is Friends, The Office, Seinfeld, and Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I never hear anyone my age (23) talking about King of Queens, hence why I say it is underrated, I’m sorry if I offended u and the other comments for my generational opinion, regardless at the end of the day I am a fan of the show, and have had serval of the hardest laughs while watching tv while watching the show.

When I say Carrie was annoying...she was annoying...lol...Name me one sane woman who works full time and doesn't like to cook who would be MAD about NOT having to cook when they got home from work, except Carrie Heffernan, the queen of Being Angry about EVERYTHING. Leah Remini was superb in that role. She really sold you the craziness of Carrie.

Should relaunch. I know Jerry Stiller is irreplaceable, and was the mvp of the show. Can try adequately filling those shoes with Ben Stiller playing Carrie's estranged half brother. Can effectively be the same character to the kids they got at the end of the original run. RIP Jerry Stiller
