Happy new year Heather to you and your family. May God be with you all my love. I’m Christine in the UK. I love watching your channel you have gave me so many tips and tricks and I have also started making bread because of you you also help me in my darkest hours as I lost my son through suicide and pains get very dark. I had to laugh when I saw your little inset there about the side of the pan. I was thinking, Heather, scrape that side! Haha. Also, about instant potatoes, my Mom used to make potato soup, when things were scarce in the kitchen, with celery, onion, and water, sauteed in butter first, then she'd add instant potatoes, and it was always so good. Sometimes she'd throw it together and I'd slip home from work for lunch. Just made me think of it.

Heather I been making this soup for years. Didn’t realize it had a name lol.. I have been thickening soup with instant potatoes for 45 years. When washing ALL FRUITS & VEGETABLES I add white vinegar just 1/4 cup to my sink full with water. This way it kills the nasty bacteria that can be in them. This is the first time I’ve ever prepared parsnips, so I am very excited to see how I like them. I didn’t have fresh carrots, so I’m just going to dump a jar of home preserved carrots at the end when everything else is done, just to warm them up. I also found a big hunk of Parmesan cheese rind that I threw in there also. Can’t wait to try it.

IThat soup looks absolutely delicious. I love putting parsnips and rutabaga in my soups. My kids don't like rutabaga, so I understand having to be creative. This is why I love watching your videos. Because many times I am a visual person. Heather when you laugh you remind me of my cousin, It puts the biggest smile on all who know her. We still don't have snow here in Minnesota either. Although today it was drizzling and there was a sum the vehicles and the roads were getting slick. I am recovering from my virus, Today I did a soup. That was a little bit of this and a little bit of that. It was really good. I forget about when you said use instrumental potatoes as a thickener. What would you use for a Boullion, if you can't use the better than boullion. My daughter gets migraines from it. We haven't tried it for a long time and Christmas time. My son used it and it triggered a migraine for her again. Any ideas? I hope you have the most blessed and amazing. New Year 2024. I also love watching Wilhelms Kitchen. Her recipes gave me such hope when several years ago. My daughter Oliver said couldn't eat anything dairy and MSG. She was of the channels besides you that gave us new life and hope in meals. I learned all about nutritional yeast as cheese. But then we realized my daughter could eat goat cheese.

Just add meat & a bit of broth & chop with a stick blender ot food processor. I like the food processor best because you can make it as corse or as fine as you like. Your body needs the protein from the meat. I save any extra ground meat in a separate container & add to my soups as needed. Hope 5his helps sweetie. Hey there, sweetie! I have a question. The USA pan, does it warp and pop whilst in the oven? Like, my current sheet pans kinda twist in the oven and will pop up on one corner and down on the other, nearly launching light foods into the abyss. I've not been able to find a sheet pan that doesn't do this. I've got USA in most other pans, but just haven't tried theirs. Thanks, and I'm so happy for another cooking video with you!! I do miss them! God bless!❤

I like to put a cookie sheet under my dishes, just in case it over flows....like lasagna and roast with the beef juices. I also roast my veggies before canning....we need a straight pan otherwise it will leak out the corner. hahaha I am loving the USA Pans. They are pricey though, so wait for a sale! oh Bev, you gotta go back and watch all my vids Mama! hahaha I am in the middle of major reconstructive surgeries... my big one peeled back my gums and removed, repaired and shave excess bone from over growth (my jaw was broken in 2 places from the head injury/impact in our accident).... next surgery is end of this month. I am getting full dental implants, uppers and lowers, but right now my jaws are healing as they grow bone around the implants. So I can't have anything right now. They made me temp dentures, but because of so much bone removal, they are way too bug..... my dentist suggest just allowing my jaws to heal without added pressure of dentures on them. So I am in the healing phase still. It's a long process, my case was one of the most difficult and challenging they have ever seen..... I have a whole team, 2 locations, best surgeon in the state working on me. In good hands but I am a slow healer with a complicated case. God bless. :)

Oh honey. As I said no judgement. I always remember you as someone who always took their looks to perfection except when you had the wreck and you came to us in the hospital to let us know what happened. Even then you were spectacular. You are an inspiration I was just worried. So no harm, no foul. Love you dear one@@TheKneadyHomesteader

Yes then you totally understand major reconstructive surgery and the multi levels of healing. Keep me in your prayers as I head towards this last surgery and that my jaw bones are healed enough to get the implant pegs placed. 🙏🏼 it will be another 8-10 weeks of healing after that. My jaw bone has to form around the implants. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
