Hi Yvo. The thing i like in this one is your heartfelt empathy for the country and the things that have happened in Japan and how their lives were massively affected by the tsunami and earthquakes. Keep the great vids going and make sure you practise your Japanese 😊 Doug.

Always like your videos. Thank you. My daughter will go to Japan next year. It’s her 2nd time vacation there. I wish you can help me buy some Kōhaku koi late next year. I will definitely have a pond next year. My daughter and my husband know that I’m crazy about koi. They said they don’t mind if I turn the swimming pool into a koi pond.

So wondering how many koi do they move on from a pond of Twenty Koi how many won’t make the grade for another year? When do they decide a koi won’t be good enough? How who buys them?

How do they prevent others (no relationship with the owners) from entering their mud ponds? Noticed no fences or gates to demarcate the various properties.

Yvo, thanks for giving us these videos. I'd like to ask if you can do a few videos focusing on filtration systems because I'd like to see what these breeders are using and how they set it up. On my starter channel I really like to talk and hear about water quality and filtration systems.

Cheers nice video Yvo. But be careful while going to abandoned places like that scary house where there is no cell phone signal. Never wander to such places without a friend or someone accompanying you. Could be dangerous buddy. Take care. Happy Holidays 🤶 🎄

I'm curious how the breeders keep track of who the fish belong to when the fish are left to grow in the mud ponds.

You went Japan and told the Japanese guy to speak English? You could easily pass as American.

Haha, hi David. Did you know only 12% of Japanese speak English. While I am taking Japanese lessons, I sometimes need to ask things in English ;)
