So that's why I said I love him but he small amd won't block well in this system. He's actually 6'0 which is decent still lose on blocking but that big enough to get better at it.

Nope. If there’s any one Washington player who is untouchable, it’s Terry McLaurin. He’s currently in a group of 4 receivers with 75+1000 each of the last 4 seasons. Look back at how many QB’s threw to him. Look at the “stability” he’s had during his tenure in DC. Dude is a good qb, coaching staff, and ownership group away from being elite. Hopefully those have been settled. A true number 2 receiver would be helpful too.

Larry, I usually agree with you, but I hate that trade proposal. I'm not a Jahan Dotson fan at all! That would be a huge downgrade from Aiyuk. Get McLaurin and Jonathon Allen for Aiyuk, Thomas and Davis. I don't think we need a CB in return for Thomas anymore. I think we will be okay with our other corners now.

Not a good trade. Jonathan Allen is about to turn 30 years old. NFL Defensive Tackles age like Vegas strippers. Emannuel Forbes is garbage and a liability year 1, a wasted 1st rnd pick, too small and not physical enough to hold up in the NFL. From PFF " Forbes got his first start since Week 11 and struggled to contain San Francisco’s weapons. He allowed four receptions for 89 yards and a Brandon Aiyuk touchdown. Forbes has struggled all season in single coverage, outside of an excellent performance against New England. For the season, he owns a 47.1 coverage grade when in single coverage."

Still think if we are trading Aiyuk it will be to the AFC. But unless we get McLaurin back, I'm not interested. You get McLaurin under contract for 2 years at what they want to try and pay Aiyuk (maybe even cheaper) and may finally thrive with stability at the QB position.

McLaurin would work just fine in Shanny's offense. Shanny & Brock are the pieces that matter the most, offensively. All the other parts that orbit those two can be replaced or exchanged but the gravitational pull will always align with those two. Kittle, Deebo, CMC, BA, Juice, Jennings are all REALLY good players. But none of them are irreplaceable, imo. As long as both Shanny & Brock can function at a pretty high level, we should be in the thick of things consistently. That's what steady QB play and great scheming/playcalling will afford you in a offensive-driven league. Our investments in player capital will always be titled towards the defense. Lynch will always look to keep that unit in the Top 5 conversation, simply because Shanny has the capability to do more with less. And now with the emergence of Brock, that fact is only further exemplified.
