I don't know about anyone else but I monthly watch Brock Purdy Highlights. I just don't get how so many are still saying he is game manager and that he is not a top 10 QB.

All I care about is can Purdy carry the team. Can he win games be the absolute reason. I hope BA gets his bag even if it's on another team he's earned it.

He won’t get the opportunity to “carry” us - but he can takeover at times - Shanahan has too tight grip over the offense - it doesn’t seem like he’ll get over that for B Purdy - unfortunately I think he’s worthy of it. If we had got Brady or Rodgers shanahan would have to fully trust the qb

Purdy will be the NFL MVP this year, the 49ers will win 20 games this year! And they will beet the Chiefs in this year's super bowl!

Brock's improved play could lead the Niners to winning the Superbowl, more than wishful thinking all other factors remaining the same. Greenlaw healthy by November.

The problem with wide receiver pay is that many nfl folks think they can be replaced in the draft. The price is going to go only so high. BA needs to think about if a couple million difference is worth leaving.

The problem is the college game has changed. It’s pass heavy. Which produces better QBs and WR who are more NFL ready from the get go. In short, A LOT of supply.

@@LoverboyB_Pookie The 49ers made him. Everyone can’t be paid. Thats just facts and common sense. He can decide to not except what he’s offered. He simply doesn’t play. 49ers hold ALL the leverage.

Dude every QB has a bad game literally everyone...don't contradict everything....I see Josh Allen throw more ints than anyone I've ever seen before other than Brett Favre but he's a "top" QB

@@dylanaustin5234 I'm a huge fan of Brock. His "superpower" is his mental capacity. Everything else is hard work and he obviously he will improve, and that is why I think the Niners will be better this coming season.

Not having anyone to look over his shoulder at is not a good thing. Purdy could get a concussion and be out for weeks. You want a serious #2 QB.

They are NOT "just a couple of million of dollars away." BA is stuck on "More" setting. It does NOT matter what SF offers, right now. BA is only going to accept near JJ money. He is NOT worth JJ money (JJ isn't worth JJ money, either). Also, BA has to play. He is under contract. Diva mode doesn't change that fact.

The Kreug Show. I am pretty sure that if Aiyuk's pay were to increase by 4 million, other player's pay in the locker room would have to decrease by an equal amount. I am pretty sure the locker room would like some of that $4 million in cap space. Guys like Aiyuk can destroy the chemistry of a locker room by being selfish. Russell Wilson did it to Seattle and Denver. Are the Niners a better team with Aiyuk on the roster? Absolutely. Is Aiuyk absolutely essential for the Niners to win the super bowl. Absolutely not.

Come on Damon you know damn right well if they bow down to Aiyuk when they have ALL the power then that will open a flood gate of other players following Brandons lead. You just cannot have that. Is Brandon Aiyuk replaceable? Of course he is. Is it going to hurt the 49ers chances to win the Super Bowl? Of course it will BUT not by as much as people think. I think Pearsall can come in and do an admirable job, maybe not as good as Brandon but I think he'll be better than Brandon in Brandons year 1 season.
