Beim Spaziergehn auf den Gassen
When walking on the streets
"Von Mama sich führen lassen,"
"To be guided by Mama,"
Bringt es ihnen Gut’s genug
Is it good enough for them?

And a nice picture book.
"Sieh einmal, hier steht en ro
"Look, here he is,"
Pfui! der Struwwelpeter!
Pooh! The Struwwelpeter!
An den Händen beiden
On the hands both
Ließ er sich nicht schneiden
He did not let himself be cut
Seine Nägel fast ein Jahr;
His nails almost a year;
Kämmen ließ er nicht sein Haar.
He did not let his hair comb.

Er fing die Fliegen in dem Haus
He caught the flies in the house
Und riss ihnen die Flügel aus.
And ripped their wings off.
Er schlug die Stühl‘ und Vögel tot
He struck the chairs and birds dead
Die Katzen litten große Not.
The cats suffered great distress.
"Und höre nur, wie bös er war:"
And just hear how evil he was:
Er peitschte seine Gretchen gar!
He even whipped his gretchen!
"Am Brunnen stand ein großer Hund,"
"At the fountain stood a big dog,"
Trank Wasser dort mit seinem Mund.
Drank water there with his mouth.
Da mit der Peitsch‘ herzu sich schlich
Since the whip was sneaking around
Der bitterböse Friederich;
The bitter-angry Friederich;
"Und schlug den Hund, der heulte sehr,"
"And struck the dog, who cried a lot,"
Und trat und schlug ihn immer mehr.
And kicked and beat him more and more.
"Da biss der Hund ihn in das Bein,"
"Then the dog bit him in the leg,"ute,"

Oh God. YT should have the option of merging two languages into the captions. It's been way too painful having to decide and define what being displayed on the screen.

There is a work on Beast Wars it think it's worth translating. That is already translated to German. I've remembered of this cartoon. And perhaps Beast Machines though I've got no idea if YT has made if available.
