@@lizzothechub I think he is genuine and loves God very much. ... and for me is enough... another thing is that God uses him to administrate the Holy Spirit in the streets, where most of the famous evangelists can't go.. He preaches in the evangelistic crusades in shorts and flip flops; that probable irritates 'conservatives Christians'. I don't like it neither, but if you ask those people who receive healing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they don't care if need to be baptize or confess sins to be free. Thank you, Torben, by speaking the truth. I was deceived, taking the manifestations of unclean spirits (laughter, body wiggling) for the Holy Spirit. It took me sometime to understand what was going on, and with the help of other godly Christians I was delivered. Since then my life has changed. There is freedom, diminishing fear of man and joy. Can you explain the manifestations you had that were unclean like laughing and body wiggling please? Were there others like tingling sensations and stuff like that? How did you come to know this wasn't from God? I can't watch the video just now and am looking for personal experiences because I fear I might need deliverance like you did. Remember that Torben does not need deliverence because he know that he is free, there are others in other denominations that are just as free. These are people that has walked right with God, even the very hairs on their heads are numbered, nobody can rip them from Christs hands. The Lukewarm Christian that was rejected by Christ needs deliverence, the new Christian need to be delivered and do not always manifest. However laughter is a beautifull manifestation on the Holy Spirit as our God Himself would laugh joyfully on the throne. And Gods will in heaven will be done here on earth as in the our Father prayer. Psalm 126 1 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

some manifestations are clearly demonic and you can tell when the fruit of the manifestation is over controlling the person as if they do not have control of themselves, this is not the Holy Spirit. Liane Arandia there’s enough biblical examples of people falling down, not being able to speak, looking like they were drunk, and loosing their sight, in events that were clearly out of their control where we are told that it was God’s doing, that the assertion that a person not having control of themselves must be under the influence of a demon can not be a true statement. Demons can be present, angels and the Holy Spirit can be present, and the souls of people can be present all at the same time and it takes discernment to know what we are observing when it comes to physical and emotional manifestations people are having and how we can minister to them appropriately.

I am so glad that they are discussing this I’m a Bible scholar and I study the Word continuously, and I see false spirits happening in the church more and more especially New Age doctrine being infiltrated throughout the churches . There are so many false prophets who claim to speak for the Lord and/or hear the Lord or have visions from the lord ..9 times out of 10 is a kundalini spirit! The enemy can demonstrate miracles as well healing etc. the reason Jesus said let the same mind in me be in you is guiding us to have 20/20 discernment!! There are so many so-called prophets out there claiming to hear from the Lord which is a bunch of bunk seeking their own glory. the prophets of the Bible in the old testament were never wrong nor did they give timestamps. The word is very clear how to recognize a false prophet and if those rules in the Bible are broken by any prophet then the Lord says clearly he does not speak for me!

The Lord has been waking me up to these things for a while. I confronted a friend after a service one night about his holy silly drunkeness and how it interfered with the teaching of the Word. He got angry and said i had a religious spirit. He hasnt talked to me since. The fruit was proof that it was definitely not the Holy Spirit. When I was 14yrs old I was prayed on by a very famous USA Minister who's speciality was to create mass 'Slain in the Spirit' Services. Everybody around me fell and when It came to my turn to be prayed on he physically tried to push me down. There is no Doubt in my mind that God does do that when it is needed and peoples lives were changed. I never went down. Instead I choose to take a knee. I too have experienced many of these experiences in my own church growing up. Looking back we were silly and probably looked worse, but I know in amongst the chaos, God did reveal things to people who really needed it. Every vision I had scared me though. I wish I had someone to talk to about them. Not many understand or have the gifts of discernment. Torben you are truly blessed and I pray God carries you far and often in your journeys, safely where ever He takes you. To God I give all the Glory.

The Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit produces peace love joy patience kindness goodness gentleness faithfulness and self control. Key word: self control. To be over taken by being drunk in the spirit is not self control it is another spirit at work. I have seen people make fools of themselves and they say they are drunk in the spirit. We are supposed to walk in authority and how can a person "drunk" be of any use to Jesus. Thank you for this video, people need to know these things.

@@travishowett1189 There is a genuine presence of God that is tangible and absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I have been in a church where the Spirit if God hovered like a blanket over the congregation. I have also been in numerous congregations where this laughter and people making animal noises and other physical manifestations and let me tell you..BIG difference. I don't believe that these manifestations are of God. I was in a church when the so-called Toronto blessing came..it divided the church. When it's the real thing like the priests in the temple..there in NO doubt to ALL that it's God's presence. And you don't need to have people push you backwards..God is quite capable of touching you with his presence to the point you can't stand up any longer. Yes, I am wary esp in Pentecostal churches because of what I've seen. The world has infiltrated the church..and even yoga..which is Hinduism at its roots. No discernment and no teaching about spiritual warfare! Sad, sad state of affairs. As for Acts..I believe they thought they were drunk because they were all speaking in other tongues..not because they were falling around and/or making animal noises. Christian's can be so naive. Lastly, I know from personal experience..that these 'experiences' do not bring lasting Godly changes in your walk with Jesus. Maybe a small percentage if we're lucky. We must be very careful who we let pray for us..and we must be careful where we go.

I don't recall who said it, but it went something like this: If you want to see how many people are actually "slain in the spirit", remove the "Catchers."

At a meeting when I fell over I fell face down and everyone was falling backwards and I was asking God why did I fall forward and 2 other people fell forward too. I was a new believer and never knew why I fell forward. After reading the Bible I saw so many scriptures of people falling face down in the presence of God and was thankful. Thank goodness a video that speaks truth where there is so much confusion in the church right now. For me this is one of the most balanced, Godly videos I have listened too. The main issue with what we are seeing in the church today is that many ministries unwittingly covet a move of God that happened somewhere else and then try and 'take' that to their church. Needing to belong and Fear of Missing Out means that full grown, sane adults start creating manifestations so that they too can feel like they belong. The end fruit is pride - 'look at me the spirit is all of me' I must be walking in a higher way. It is important as Christians we gently correct those who have fallen into this trap. The fruit of the spirit is: love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Furthermore, power, speaking in tongues follow those who love God and obey him. Honesty Power is something all Christians should walk in. We must chase the Giver not the Gifts.

This confuses Christian instead of setting them free. I have experience Holy laughter and shaking and falling down. It’s not because I was seeking for it but it was in deep times of being confronted by the Lord. During that time I read the word, God’ word speaking to me through scripture. The more I experienced his deep love for me the more I wanted to hear from him. I didn’t have to have those experience, I didn’t even ask for them but through it I drew closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. I don’t always have them , for that matter of a fact I haven’t had any for awhile but that doesn’t stop me from seeking the Lord. I feel his presence, I know he is their where I have the manifestation or not. I can’t go by other people experience with the Lord. I can only go by what the Lord does in me. How do I know it’s true because I’m changed, that’s how. I’m changing into his image. You can’t just judge me because you don’t know me. You don’t know how confused,depression, social anxiety, deep hurts, and thinking I was retarded and the ugliest person on earth. I couldn’t look at myself in the face and I couldn’t be with people for a long period of time. That all has changed now. Not because of the manifestations but it’s a life devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ. The manifestation was just a part of it that shape my life.

I believe that these reactions your body has are very good and from the Holy Spirit. I think the holy spirit removes the demons in us, cast them out while also casting out feelings of shame, deep hurt... and falling to the floor while the Holy Spirit does his job is just normal. You're surrendering and letting God do what he wants of you. The shaking and other physical quirks are from the demons coming out but are not demonic in any way. I have a similar background as Torben, born-again into a church with a lot of false teaching including Word/Faith movement so I went the other way for a long time, rejecting all manifestations. Yours is very balance approach and the same conclusion I have come to. It is Refreshing to hear someone else saying it...keep saying this! I still am uncomfortable with speaking in tongues right in people's faces which some of your videos seem to do, but I cannot argue with the fruit. It is also my experience when the Holy Spirit overcomes someone there is a DEEEEEEP repentance and realization of sin in ones life which causes a huge change.

This is an amazing video. I was baptized with the Holy Spirit a couple of months ago. During my baptize a lot Spirits left my body, where I was 100% aware of their existince; as I had a lot of problems according to voices, shadows, fear, pain on the chest, nightmares, anger etc. But in the months after that i had been baptize I've noticed screaming inside me, lots of thought about murdering and all kind of demonic attacks. I went to church for a prayer and what happend: they've prayed for me and I felt on the ground shaking and heavily breathing. People around me told me that was the Holy Spirit, but I wasn't so sure, as I noticed i wasn't able to stop it. After that I started writing down everything that happend to me: people's faces changing in demons, voices screaming in my head, heavily breathing during prayers, shaking during prayer etc. I was so scared of it in the first place, that I didn't want to think about it. Even though I started writing and told my dad about it, he then let me to The Last Reformation. There I heard about New Age and I actually let New Age spirits in at an official Doctor, who talked about negative energys and started touching my muscles, when I came there for a burn-out (So, really be aware for Official Doctors!!!). At the Last Reformation they've prayed for me and I was set free of more spirits. After that, the voices in my head, heavily breathing, shaking and thoughts about murder dissappeared.

I am thankful for your teaching and example. I was born again 8 yes ago and by faith I received His healing and deliverance. My church did not believe in it. The Holy Spirit gave me wisdom and the dispensation theory. Paul said the kingdom of God is not a kingdom of words but of power. Brother, you are doing God’s work. I am relieved after watching this video that the truth is out there. That we should not be chasing after manifestations or trying to be drunk or slain in the Spirit all the time. I’m thankful that we can discern the spirits and not jump into seeking manifestations, yet still be Spirit-filled. I will say I went through something called Restoring The Foundations that has you visualize Jesus in the place of your trauma. And I got deliverance there. I was empowered by Holy Spirit to no longer submit to guilt trips and Manipulation of a family member, and I felt the peace of God when I obeyed God rather than submitting to guilt, fear and manipulation. My life changed. I no longer lived to please that family member. I always had this thought before, “If I don’t do what they want, I’ll regret it and feel guilty after they die”. I received the Holy Spirit by accident. The denomination I was raised in did not believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (they taught it was automatically received with water baptism, and had no outward or inward manifestations) nor of spiritual gifts and manifestations (ceasationists), so when I received the Holy Spirit and started experiencing supernatural things, I tried a "charasmatic" church, but very, very quickly, as ignorant as I was, realized that they and I had a VERY different spirit. Theirs was one of misery, sickness, confusion, chaos, fear, pain, and self focus. What I was experiencing was joy, freedom, peace, self forgetfulness, unity, and a heavenly presence. And yet, they would try to "heal" me when I began experiencing that heavenly presence, and was perfectly at peace. Looking back, I see they were being led by their Kundalini spirit to try to infect me, but the Holy Spirit was too strong in me at that time to allow it in.

i went to Benny Hinn's meeting in Buffalo when i was a new believer n i was in the first row and when he swiped his hand saying "catch the fire of holy spirit" everyone around me fell accept for me n i am not feeling anything. i was starting to question am i the crazy one or these large group of people. I guess God didn't want me to be deceived by these fall spirits n somehow it couldn't get to me, blood of Jesus shielded me

If someone believes that God wants people to ONLY feel joy and that maybe he wants his Word ignored, truly doesn't know God. The people that read the Word like God mandates, know this. One can not have a relationship with God, know Christ nevertheless feel the true power of God (Holy Spirit) if they think God is only joy. God is righteousness, love and joy, but not only joy. Whatever these people are feeling as they only preach Joy and "drunkenness" is not of the Holy Spirit, it's the deceiver. Blessings.

I opened up about this to church leaders but I got thrown out of the church for having a judging spirit. Went to another church the same there GOD gave me an open vision the Apostle of that church wanted to hear our dreams and visions because they could have messages from GOD for the body. This is so good. If we are not being changed in our walk then maybe we are following a different spirit. God have mercy and wake people up because there is freedom in Jesus. I was recently at a meeting where many people were manifesting and then saw a snake as I closed my eyes and heard the scripture Matthew 23. You broad of vipers. I have experienced God too so much and have been delivered by Him and there is a big difference. There is fruit of holiness when God touches us. Not chaos.

I stopped going to a pentecostal church in Calgary because I saw something that puzzled me. A preacher was visiting the church and claimed to have several gifts of the Spirit and was highly respected by the Pastor because of connection. I got discouraged because I could not understand how he kept walking around the church during worship and chatting with everyone. Then when he took over he kept saying general things to individuals and attributing it as prophecy...like..."i see you with a large net...cast it out God will fill it" .... he did this to several people but it did not feel right. I have been around tongues and interpretation and it is solemn and respectful and powerful and it brings this silent hush and fear of God. I have had prophecy spoken over my life and it was not general it was specific and had to do with where I was now and what God will do in my future. (Things that only God knew abouf me). But what I have seen in my searching for more of God is that there are alot of churches who are in weird stuff. I have not been able to wrap my mind around the gold dust, feathers, jewels, crackers etc. It is weird.

So good. I do think the fire is not just the final judgment. Burning only the wood, hay and stubble but having no effect on the gold, silver and precious stones. His words are a baptism of fire to uncleanness, hypocrisy, sin, pride, religion and abuses. It caused the Pharisees and religious leaders so much pain they had to try to kill Jesus and his disciples.

Oh, my Josh. Your topic has confirmed many things for me and God's word. When I first became a Christian 1996. A friend invited me to a Church 'The Vine." I was terrified at the whole church as they spoke loudly in tongues, rolled in the isles etc, It was chaos! I new before hand that speaking in tongues should have and interpreter. God's Holy Spirit sent me running from that church. (Although I hadn't understood that at the time) I am a Reformed Christian, and have been for many years. I've been terribly confused regarding those who randomly heal everyone they see. I've been so afraid it isn't scriptural. Yes I've been taught that God does heal, but not everyone. I will learn as much as I can from your teaching- sort of a 'happy medium' as you mentioned. I look forward to learning.

I’ve been where Torben is describing about the 2 ditches and trying to find the middle road for the last 13 months. I left a hyper-charismatic ditch, where I accepted everything as God. Now I’ve gone where there is expository teaching of The Word, but I am also finding that I don’t want to quench Holy Spirit or shut down spiritual gifts. Thank you for this video. The first 9 months of this journey were extremely hard. I felt like I was detoxing and also wondered at moments if I was losing my mind. I learned some good things in hyper-Charismatic, but also some things sourced from New Age (probably unknowingly-I believe the leaders truly have a heart for Jesus). Anyway, thanks!

So this is interesting to listen to. I definitely believe in testing the spirits and being aware of what is going on however I just had an experience with the Holy Spirit during my quiet time with him 2 days ago. I was spending time with him crying and just enjoying his presence and all of a sudden unexpectedly I was overcome by laughter. Never has happened before and not uncontrollably but enjoyably for at least about 15 minutes deep laughter. After I just thought about how Delightful He is! I was not in church and not looking for this experience not expecting it just happened.

I have to admit that I was put off from your ministry when I first saw your videos years ago because I saw these manifestations and that there were a lot of people manifesting in this way. I came out of sin and a church that manifested this way, devoid of the Spirit and lives that live holy, and ran fast away from your group. I'm glad you are addressing this today. Thank you. You dont want to identify with these manifestations. The bible speaks of order when his people come together, not disorder.

In the Netherlands it's now coming over the church as a tsunami. In my church at least some are starting to see the dangers, but many in my denomination, including the leaders, still seem to be blind. I'm beginning to think that this will start the 'great falling away' about which the Bible speaks. It isn't without reason that Jesus said: When I return, will I find faith on earth?

Thank you very much for sharing this video. Actually 2-3 days after watching this (yesterday) I went to a church I had been before and they had invited a pastor who claims he has an anointing from the holy spirit. Everyone was screaming and shouting during the service and even though I was praying during the whole thing and I felt God was with me, I could feel that there was too much chaos around me. After the service the pastor was touching everyone and some of them would fall down and he came to pray for me too. I hesitated to say no because of the respect for that church and the pastor there and he indeed prayed for me, put his hand on my head and I felt a warm comforting energy. Only few minutes later I had to cry and I couldn't even understand the reason. I felt very confused and tired. A woman came and talked to me very loudly hugging me and I had no idea what was going on. When I went home I was feeling exausted and immediately i picked up a fight with my roommate. Then I slept a hypnotic sleep. Only when I woke up I started to realize this other pastor gave me a fake spirit...! I have been praying all day since yesterday and suddenly I felt that my God doesn't like screaming and shouting and fake manifestations of the spirit! He is a holy and harmonious God and this is an abomination to Him. He likes humility, patience, faith and the narrow path of praying and fasting and not these fake miracles that do not touch the hearts of people...... I feel that the Lord is giving us over to our desires so if we desire outward manifestations He tests us because He wants us to know Him and have discernment. How can people confuse this for the presence of God?

It's not God that allow any harm to anyone. Its the sin that causes such things. God gives us free will. So when we decide to live our lives how we see fit instead of having a true relationship with God like he intended then the enemy can slowly get in. Such a unforgiveness, sex outside of marriage, anger ect. What we reap we sow. Even from our past generations. As unfair as it seems if we all had a relationship with our creator like we were made to and let him guide us we wouldn't all be reaping so much.

Yes thank you for the time to explain some things, however I must say that I came from a church which allowed a move of God and was also part of that ministry team. You can have experiences in the Spirit of God, but it will be crucial for change to come afterwards and not just have the experience. I fully undertsand that you might not have had so many, and I I know that many did things just be part of the club, since when I prayed for some and they fell, I knew that no power from above or within came down. There was also demonic manifistation that some did not have the dicernement to realize what it was, and that is where the danger comes in that many just want to have an exprience without understanding that if God wants to this that it is for a reason, to have more power, to help others, to heal the sick and mircales. The cast out demons I left to say this: we where at a famous healing ministers meeting, and me and a friend encountered a man that was possesed so while we where busy with him a young lady on this guys ministry walked passed and though that he was expriencing the Holy Spirit, so we got "rid" of her quickly in order for us to help this guy, he was delivred and changed since we personally followed up on that with a visit a bible and had coffee and a long talk. So drunkenness, laughter all these things (which I did exprience myself many times), no problem as long as it brings change that stays, make you love All people more, gives you decrement and encourages you to study the word like Paul said to Tim, to show yourself approved by God and also it helps renew the mind.

This is my true experience with this.... I loved being slain/unraveled /falling in the “spirit” what I experienced was not fake... I could not help it when I would go to a meeting like this my lips would start to shake I had no control over it... but it did not change me, while I was experiencing these things I had a pain and anger towards my husband, and would have that pain and anger the next day again... I asked God why isn’t this helping???? The only thing it made me was scared to lose it, because I knew I was not walking the right way with this anger, so when it happened I said thank God I did not loose or offend the Holy Spirit... Some of these thing have been around a very long time. I remember in the early 70’s seeing manifestations like rolling around the floor and frothing at the mouth, laughing, jerky movements. In many ways none of this is new but I am glad these things are being brought out into the open. I have seen many things in my life, when I was first saved I thought most Christians were a bit crazy because they seemed to have strange behaviours. I saw both extremes, people who were involved in external holiness and those who thought anything goes. The Lord gave me wisdom to understand this was not normal, my own experience of Christ had taught me this was not good. I was young at the time but as you said the Holy Spirit will guide you as to what is of the Holy Spirit and what was not and what was purely flesh.

Greetings to you. With great interest I watched this video after watching your video: The Last Reformation, the Beginning. I believe some of the manifestations are very real (I can testify), yet, others are not. I was surprised when you mentioned the word “circus”, because that is exactly the word I used twice in things I have seen. It really does come down to seeking His Hand, so to speak, instead of His Face. (This was a term we heard even back then to explain the difference in the heart of what a person is seeking.) I have experienced many things of the Lord Jesus, such as manifestations, even seeing His Glory cloud in the church, and various other things. As far as laughter, when I first fell out, the joyful surprise of it made me giddy with laughter as I lay on the floor. I also saw in a vision, His Arm helping to lay me down. I was overwhelmed. But falling out in His Holy Spirit, if it is real, everyone will instantly know if it is. What God does to an individual from that point if it is real is His Work in that individual, and that individual will know, absolutely. But, I too have seen and noticed when things are really wrong. And today, it also makes me sad to think of it, but the good things, I never forget. I think the “genuine” laughter, for example, is when God does remove people’s stress, and people simply do not know how to react to it, so they laugh and act giddy. I truly believe God can and has done this in people’s lives. But I am sure there is the imitation kind as well. It can be like when a minister obeys God by preaching what God gave him to preach, but then when giving it, he observes that the congregation is not responding as he thought they should, so he starts beating on the devil in his sermon, gets the crowd animated/excited, but it was not of God. We call that crowd manipulation. In the same sense, we can get to the place where we think the devil has more control than God has, so we can get to a type of prayer where we could definitely call it, Christian witchcraft incantations, as though our prayers will force God’s Hand because we claimed it. But God is Sovereign. But I have seen the circus, and in one case, I began to wonder where the minister’s Bible was. Even at the younger adult age that I was, I saw this was wrong. Years later, I saw that if people are looking for something else besides Jesus, such as His Hand (-out), or to just get excitement, etc., they will not even know when God has moved in a new direction, but the congregation is still doing the things that worked before not realizing that God had moved-and sadly the congregation was not aware of it (I am talking about continuing in the things that were happening when God showed up in a big way). I was at a church where a man, I discovered after the service, that he was spending quite a bit of money to rent a place to have an outreach. This man before I knew anything about him, prayed for me, waved his hand slightly by his waist toward me, and I flew over, falling out in the Holy Spirit, and this man did not touch me. God did a work in me then as in other times before. I believe this gold dust people have experienced became something like what I mentioned previously--people came to seek His Hand on this matter, but not His Face. We did not return to the next service we went to that had the report of this manifestation. We realized for the second time, we came to a circus. It was not about God’s Face, but about His Hand-and it was all about the seeking of this gold. I also see sad things that happen, often due to controlling spirits in the church. And if people see demonic spirits come in, like see darkness ooze down the walls, they will often blame a person who might have walked in with a biker jacket, but in reality, it was because of unfaithfulness going on in the team of the church. This embarrassed me to no end and still does when I think of this incident. I wish I had not been there to witness the craziness that ensued. When wrong things start happening, I think people know that too, at least the ones that discern it. I believe the Lord Jesus can do anything, and every day the Lord might be doing something different, just as Jesus dealt with every person in the Gospels differently. HE knows what everyone needs. Consider that in the past in history some people levitated while praying to the Lord even in church and reportedly levitated very high in the church or even when ministering to a lost person and this person got saved by seeing this person levitate, ----while other people have levitated by an evil spirit-and people have seen that happen too, absolutely by a demonic spirit. Most of my Christian life, the safe thing to do is what Jesus tells us to do: Test the Spirits and Check the Fruit. This is what we should do. As for me, we can really go through a time when God lifts His manifestation from the church, even when HE came in a powerful way. But then, we realize the Lord Jesus has not ever left us, but perhaps controlling spirits in a church caused Him to graciously leave as far as the manifestations. And in fact, when a huge revival came to the church we attended many years ago, in a year therein, Jesus absolutely made sure by repeating this to me in several ways-He will never leave or forsake me. What happened? The years that followed, this came to mind at various times when I needed to remember it, and it immediately comforted me. Perhaps this was one of the greatest things I received from the Lord when God does visit a church. When HE pulls the manifestations, what will we do? This is a very difficult thing to experience. Will we have His Peace and His Rest? I am so grateful the Lord gave me His Word, and I do remember all the very good things the Lord Jesus did in the revival. I was never the same again. Love in Jesus' Name.

+adrian galvin I believe the point you're trying to make is that the devil counterfeits the Holy Spirit's manifestation, and the "authentic manifestation" is that of the Holy Spirit.. did I understand you correctly? I'd urge you to meditate on this verse: 1 John 4:1 - "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." From this, we can see that spirits can come from God OR the devil, so in that sense they do have different origins. Pharaoh's magicians copied what Moses did in front of Pharaoh... I don't think you would argue that the magicians used the power of God, but that of the devil. Why drunkenness? Well, the feeling appeals to the flesh... same with uncontrollable laughter.

I understand what you mean.. We cant depend on manifestations. However I think that eveyone of us has to know what kind of relationship we have with God and from that point God help us to discern what its false doctrine. I can talk about what I ve lived personally and I ve experienced many things with the Holy Spirit, you can call it peace, quietness and also Tonghes, Joy, tears, other things I cant even explain with words and also Just let him guide my way and I know is the pressence of God and the Holy Spirit. But, I'm just confused about the visualising Jesus thing when there do seem to be biblical references about it: Psalm 16:8 and Acts 2:25 "25 For David says concerning Him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken." Also, do we not use imagery when we abide in Him? And then there is Hebrews 12:2 "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Basically where do we draw the line that stops a familiar spirit coming in that "looks" like Jesus? I would be angry as well just like that lady that was delivered from a fake Jesus, but how do you renew your mind about past hurts or wrong beliefs without visualisation including Jesus?

I think its OK to visualise. The Jesus spirit that Joanne michaelson went to was not the jesus of the bible. He did not believe that Jesus was fully God and fully man. Its also about who or what you are putting your trust in... ..the grave soaking lot, Bethel etc are putting their trust in the dead person in the grave. The also pray to and put their trust in angels which is idolatory.. God may send angels in answer to our prayer but we don't pray to them. God also promises to reveal himself to those who walk in love and to hide himself from those who don't want to do what's right 2 these 2:12

Awesome video!! Hit a chord when it was said....people want to have what others have without doing the work. They believe that being around a Saint will transfer holiness somehow. As above, so below. Just as in the physical people want riches and do not want to do the work required. There IS work to do in one's own spiritual life.....I know because I have experience a change in both physical and spiritual after seeking and searching for a very long time......and I have not stopped. Seek the Lord in prayer. My advice is to know that if people are being healed, the Name of Jesus is lifted up, the devil is not going to appear and heal sickness especially if Jesus is being messaged. The people in the Bible had many experiences that were crazy (taken up/Elijah translated) it’s all biblical. God is supernatural and of course our human body cannot take it when God Almighty touches us. My biggest thing is to pray for discernment and go in your secret place and just seek God, wait on Him with soaking or worship music. He loves u and I love u. Im kinda thinking about Heidi Baker. And Todd White. But they teach on Holiness. The cross. Suffering for Jesus etc. Heidi fits the bill with off manifestations. But - there is a lot happening with that ministry that is doing what Jesus called us to do. Todd preaches Christ everywhere he goes. How can we reconcile this. Lord. Help us. And help them.

I agree. I am just getting concerned that he is getting so busy and possibly tired. I pray for him often and have posted on his teachings for others to hold him up in prayer too. What I love about Todd is that there are times when I watch a video by him and I get so convicted when he teaches about spending time with the Lord instead of watching youtube videos! LOL! SO I turn it off and spend time in my word. A demonic spirit would never teach that!!

Jenny Burkhart amen! Beothjer can u pray for me? I'm getting concerned with what torben talked about I was baptized with the holy spirit and spoke in tongues but I got into soakinmg and practicing the presence of God and I'm worried did I loose my salvation and the holy spirit? I'm afraid I blasphemed Him I've had thoughts against him I'm so worried and so confused plz pray my bro in Christ

I say we just keep them in prayer, spend time with the Lord and obey Him. Cuz that is what Jesus told us to do. And that is what Heidi and Todd tell folks to do...

So Glad I watched this!! it was done really well with biblical sound doctrine! We must test the spirits to see whether they are of God ! Loved how you guys just said focus on Jesus and discipleship and the signs will follow. The Spirit and the word need to line up simple! Hit every question I had with the word of God awesome stuff Praise God!

I read in your comments that some of you do not want to hear this. Please guys, test it, research, ask God of wisdom. Check if you always rejoyse, always have peace and love for others even in the struggle of life. If not search God because we are promised strength and power from God to live a righteous life, and then we will all live with strong anointing to show Jesus. Reverence God, ask and it will be given to you. Soulish power will only burn us out, and lead to fake manifistations and in the end we may fall away from Jesus. So be vigilant, take all things to Jesus and test it. Don't be deceived

It is Faith Torben. It is important to put the hands on the people because the bible says so, but People can Receive the HOLY SPIRIT directly from GOD YAHWEH, and JESUS, YAUSHUA without human intervention.
