Thanks for keeping it reel guys ya win some and you loose some but thats what keeps us land based fishos ticking. To be able to get enjoyment out of just being there and knowing that it can happen at any moment is priceless. That first spot that use fished i call it the aquarium and have landed 30kg fish there and seen 40kg specimens torpedoing through scaring the daylights out of every living thing. Priceless..thanks guys

Hey guys big fan here. I was wandering what is that light blue/white mechanism that is connected to saltiga rod and the fishing line on the saltiga reel?

It’s basically a peg that holds the line so you can have the bail arm on the reel open. The peg is only strong enough to stop the live bait swimming away. When the live bait is eaten the line pulls out of the peg. The reel is then in free spool ready to strike and set the hook. Chur chur 👍
