love my 580bts, and you are right, it loves its fuel. the model i bought has the waist belt and a belt across the chest. really helps with handling the weight

When the piles start getting big and slow, that's when I tarp them and move them. Always faster than trying to push big piles with a blower, and I contend it's faster and cleaner than pushing them with a leaf plow. That's nice you got a complimentary blower and trimmer for attending that event.

I also have the 8010. Couldn't agree more about the tube. Big power, but the tube wears you out in leaf season. Damn thing runs flawlessly though, so I've been too cheap to get something different. The handy guy said on his channel that he got rid of his 580 and runs the 570s. Said negligible difference in power and lighter

Yeah, the tube on the 8010's are just too big and bulky. If you go from wearing the 8010 all day and then throw the 580BTS Mark III on your back, you will literally whip that blower tube around so fast you'll get twice as much done lol. It's so much lighter and easier to swing around. Definitely recommend this blower. The 8010's are so popular that you could easily sell yours and try out the 580. I'll keep my ECHO blowers around, but they won't be used much at all. I'm gonna stick with this one! Appreciate you watching the video man! 💯

I have had my 580BTS for over 10 years now. It is one bad-ss piece of equipment. I run Husqvarna’s canned Pre-Mix fuel (non-ethanol/stabilized/95 Octane) exclusively in my blower and it starts up on the first or second pull (with full choke on) even after sitting for over 6 months. I do run the tank dry after each use, but the Husqvarna fuel is amazing, and the only thing I have had to do in 10 years is change the air filter and fill-er-up.

Late to chime in but I have owned my 580 for about 8-9 years, and a lot of time in storage without any storage prep, other than using ethanol free premixed in tank. When I finally took out of storage a couple of years ago it started right up, ran a little rough and needed choke longer, but it never stopped running or had problems starting. Now that my county is about to ban gas blowers in 2024 makes me want to go pick up a backup 580 plus a smaller gas handheld. I do have Ego and lots of batteries but it just doesn’t run as long or strong as gassers.

How do you like the EGO? I've been running the TORO 60V blower a little bit, but not enough run time for leaves...

I think my Ego is a 530 or 540cfm and with 4Ah battery I can get and 8-10 min on low (with some stopping), in turbo mode maybe 3-5 min max (with some stopping). Needs stopping otherwise battery gets hot and stops itself.

I just got one. I cant wait to try it out. I know the echo has a higher CFM but not to different. But i went with husqvarna because i use echo Trimmers.

I love my echo equipment and I run the PP Dash 8010s. But I definitely prefer this Husqvarna blower over the echo blowers. Much more comfortable and the same amount of power. The mark three has 47 N of force. The PB 90,10 has 48 N of force. You’re not gonna be able to tell the difference between the two. Both very powerful blowers. Thanks again for watching!

This is my first piece of Husqvarna equipment. I'm a fan of the Brand now lol. Such a great backpack blower! That's good to know about your 580BTS blowers. Sounds like it's a solid, tried and true piece of equipment. 💯. My ECHO blowers are now sitting at the shop lol.

I'm looking for something to replace my echo 8010. Simply because the 8010 has a big bulky tube that can be cumbersome after using it all day. It wears down your arm and shoulder. This might be a good option, unfortunately everyone by me is sold out. Great video man. Keep them coming.

This one just replaced my two ECHO PB 8010's lol. It's so much easier on your arms and back at the end of the day. This tube is so easy to move around. When you go from this one to the 8010, you immediately pick up the 580BTS Mark III and get back to work. It's really that much of a difference. Let me know if you end up snagging one up somewhere. I think you'll be impressed!

I'm on the fence between this husqvarna 580bts mark lll and redmax 8560rh blower. I only run redmax equipment, I'm digging the chest and waist strap on the husky. Both are friggin beastie machines and cost 640-650ish.(just deciding on orange or red colorway)take care brotha man salute.

Not much difference at all. The Husqvarna is a lot more comfortable if you ask me. The tube is not heavy and bulky. Very easy to swing the blower tube around. I'll make a video sometime on the Mark III vs the 8010. Stay tuned...

I have a couple of ECHO PB-8010's and I prefer the 580BTS Mark III ALL Day over the ECHO blower. Everyone has their preference though. They are both awesome blowers!

The 580BTS MARK III is a lot more comfortable. The ECHO blowers just collect dust now lol. I can the Husqvarna blower all day and I’m good. Not the case with the bulky design and stuff tube on the ECHO.

Stat wise the echo 9010 still takes the lead as the king of backpack blowers but the new redmax/husqvarna are not far behind from the looks of it.

I think it’s going to come down to Brand preference and Dealer support now. I don’t have a Brand preference. But I do have a REALLY GOOD Dealer that sells ECHO. That’s where I buy all my ECHO equipment. But this Husqvarna is just as powerful at 47 N of blowing force. The 9010 is 48 N of blowing force. The Husqvarna isn’t as loud and is much more comfortable for me personally. Definitely a great choice if you have a Husqvarna dealer in your area. 👍
