over the years...we've usually gone with granular apps when we go for "preventative" modes of action, and go with wettable/liquid spray when treating in "curative" modes of action looking for "quick knock down" of lawn/landscape pests... what is the applicator's comfort zone? these chemicals are quite safe and effective when used correctly....

This series provides that and they were extremely helpful. Your instructions keep getting better all the time. Thank you !

Great video and I like the detail! I’ve used several of these for my moth infestation. I’m in Bradenton FL and this is the first time I’ve had any issues with moths. Glad I’m getting to it early. I’ve put down a liquid application plus the granular. Have not noticed any effect with these damn moths. I have treated my lawn about a month ago with the complete granular and hopefully that will kill off the larve. I got some Bifen 7.9% and will put that down on Saturday. If there’s anything else I need to be doing please share! I was wondering if the moths originated from me watering my lawn daily because of the fertilizer/insecticide I put down. Hummm….Thanks!

What I do care about is the adults are in droves inside my Florida room. Can anyone tell me, can they cause damage in there?
@TheSoloAsylum4 жыл бұрын
They say the moths don't cause any damage...however it's what the moths do that cause the damage. So, the moths do cause damage. Kill the moths. I put a Bifen product down and it hammered them in about a week. No more non-damage causing moths, or their children.

I saw more moths yesterday and did Bifen I/t liquid last night and this morning I still see some moths. Do I wait the 5-6 days before doing the liquid again or should I do the liquid again every time I see the adult moths? Or does the liquid take a day or two to kill the adults? Sorry for so many questions.

I still see those "dive bombing birds" that fly all around when I mow here in Minnesota (sparrows ????) and see a few moths here and there, but I haven't had any lawn damage. My Japanese Beetle infestation has really declined since I started using GrubEx. I just worry that I might be taking out earthworms or other good soil bugs or bacteria, etc...

Great video Allyn! So many folks in my lawn groups deal with these fellas. They are my enemy. Two things I saw- your bird poop may be bird poop, but look in that area next time and try to find a couple more for me. That appears to be what we call window feeding, where an insect eats through one side the leaf and leaves a 'window,' converse to hole feeding that is more common. Two, SW eggs are laid in flat clusters on the leaf are are clear/creamy white. They later turn an amber color. The twitter photos provided looks like dried frass. In really bad outbreak areas you get a dusty appearance through the entire area from dried grass particles. Cheers!

This is a question now don’t they have to be licensed to be applying any type of chemicals to customer properties?
