I'm applying Acelepryn monthly here to keep those at bay. It works. That Permethrin is not labeled for lawns. So, you might want to check why that before putting it down. Aceleprin is expensive, but Altriset is an alternative if still available (same stuff).

Are you using the granular acelepryn? The permethrin sfr 36.8% is for lawns. It has lawn and sod web worms on the label. Some don't, but that exact one does.

@turforganics7846 you're absolutely right. I opened the domyown page and read it was not, but it not labeled for mosquito treatment on lawns.. lol ok, interesting option considering the lower cost. I might get some. Thanks

@@wilsonline90 I'll have to look into that!! We use acceplryn for our customers and we love it. It's very expensive but it's very safe and effective. So I'll be interested in checking out that product!!

Chad I have been a sub for about 3 yrs on my tv channel I just sub here on my phone channel to help out nothing like one more sub, regardless,I almost got wiped out due to Doveweed thanks to your video a few years back saved my yard basically had to do a whole rehabilitation and re set program in now at year 3 and is looking awesome but actually dealing with these little pest myself I’m in the Jacksonville area as well thank god for your information I was able to hit the reset button! I know you are a turf organic guy for the most part but I had to use some heavy stuff for reset purposes! I’m a spay guy for all my dyi yard management love the Flowzone sprayer! Thanks as always! Pennant Magnum and a granular freehand was amazing been staying on top of it for 3 yrs now! Almost lost my whole yard to this weed because I let it go on for about 3 yrs before I realized what it was wiping my yard out by the end of the rainy summer season! Again thank for sharing your knowledge!

Hi Chad, I appreciate your videos. I just put down Provista St. Augustine in a small backyard area. Should I use a preventative fungicide? Now? And now worried, since watching your videos about brown patch and excessive watering. But sod people said I need to water a lot for first two weeks. It’s a 10x20 full sun area in Central Florida. Brown patch won't be out for another month or two. Only apply fungicide if you have active fungus.

Surfactants can help but not a must. Definitely water in the next morning!!

Will talstar P work? I assume so because it has bifenthrin 7.9%? 2x treatments how far out in between. 1 month? 2 weeks?

It will. Check the label, but 2 weeks apart is usually recommended.

I live in East Central Florida, and unfortunately, our town doesn't allow us to use pesticides or fertilizer from June through September. So I guess I'll be letting these pest eat away because I've got them. Ugh. Great info, thanks.

That's unfortunate!! They do have some natural options out there, but feedback is not very promising!! Might be worth a shot!! You apply soil to try to get those areas protected from the sun as well.

Actually, I'm okay with the restrictions we have in place. It happened due to so much of it being used and the runoff it creates into our waterways. I wish more cities would put them in place as we are poisoning our water. I will, however, look into the natural organic ways it's worth a try. Thank you for responding. Enjoy your day.

@janetta5827 I definitely understand that. The service we offer we are able to cut our pesticide use in half. That's great. You don't have to worry about an HOA getting on you.

You can use granular acceplryn. I would definitely expect to re apply.
