@@edwardgaines6561 I say it's my favorite because it's easily the one game I played the most of as a kid. Easily cleared this game a few hundred times. I didn't get into Metroidvanias and RPGs until I was almost out of high school.

You know about the MSU 1 hacks? They made Mega Man X-X3 with Genesis style soundtracks that you can play on a real SNES with a SD2SNES flash cart or you can use an emulator too

If it is a Real Emulation of this Music for the Genesis System, then the Super Nintendo Sound is much better. As almost always, the Genesis Sound sounds like a Bad Pipe Noise.
