I actually never got to this stage when I played Castlevania III as a kid. Could get all the way up to Stage 8, but got spooked off by Death transforming into a skull at the end since I was deathly afraid of them. To be fair, I was six. Today's kids have no fucking excuse that they can't pop off thirty headshots a match in CoD if I could get that far in a hard-ass game. Especially since I took the hardest route through the levels just because I loved the song "Aquarius" so much.

The battle mania Algorithm 3 bass would've sounded better since the original bass was just a pick bass and not a slap bass.there is no need for such a harsh overtone from operator one since metal on the YM2612 tends to uae the bass to fill the lower registers that the rhythm guitar couldn't. Thunder force 4 is an example of this.
