I love the concept of this technique as the teasing was always a nightmare for me to brush out and it makes me late all the time and pushes my time.. you explained it very well! I remember I tried it and it was a disaster as the hair just blew out of my hand and I think I know why I took my sections too thin.. now you showed them to be about 1cm thick, it made more sense as no one explained on Instagram. Thank you 🙏🤩

This is fantastic James. I would love to try this. My concern is that if you have a client who's hair is highlighted with a different technique, you'll inevitably get hair in the section that's already been lightened and I'd be worried about overprocessing. What would you advise on this? Also, what lightener are you using and what's the mixing ratio? Many thanks

This James is Brilliant! I am not a hair dresser. I am not a woman who knows anything about cutting hair and rarely get my own hair cut due to many bad experiences by my own hand😳, my Mum and a few hair salons too.😩 At this point, I can confidently say that I get why I have a problem with cutting my hair. I don't know what I really want!!! And to be honest, I never really wanted to "commit" to taking care of my curly, dry and frizzy hair. (The truth hurts)😫.
