I, for one, appreciate the long, descriptive titles .. they make easy to choose a video, knowing what it will be about.

Love the follow-up video, James! I so appreciate that you include application, processing and overall service times - I always question my speed, or lack thereof! I also appreciate that drop your sections as they finish processing. I often feel that I am somehow "inefficient" if I have to do that! Thank you for the reassurance!

Thank you for this. Yes, superfine weaves are the key. I struggled with this a lot. Good to remember!

Lovely technique James. I’ve just got a couple of questions.I understand this is hi lights, and the purpose is to hi light pieces and not change the over all colour. If you want to go really blonde or platinum blonde, and change the over all colour, would you still do foils then?Would you call it something different? If you still do foils to achieve the very blonde result,is it then just important that you book more time and charge more? I’m just a bit uncertain of what you would do with such a client?

Beautiful work as always James. Is it possible that you can do a video showing how you remove your foils partly.Do you rinse it then as well? I find when I remove my foils partially,I disturb the other foils and het root bleeding. Also,if you do want to do a colour change with foils, should we then charge more for it being a bigger job and more product,or would you suggest a different technique then? Also ,when toning ,you use a N.I’m using a different brand of colour. When can you use a N to tone with?

Thank you for this video! Just one question, does a developer become inactive on the hair after a certain time? For example the client has thick long hair, I want to use the 20 volume developer on the roots, then 40 volume on mid length and ends to lift the colour, but by the time I finish the roots and I’m half way through the mid lengths and ends, 40 mins would have already passed for the roots, so I’m wondering what would happen if I leave it on the roots for longer than the 40 mins time frame?

Always remix ur color and lightener after every quadrant. Yes. Most lighteners quit after about 45 to 50 minutes. Same for color
