Darn, I guess I'm piling onto the No bandwagon. I don't have the money or space for trendy pieces so I'm not even tempted. I'm also a bit weary of all these gift totes being stuffed into my orders whether I want them or not. Surely they could have a tick box in the order form to indicate if you actually want it? My last order happened to fall on a "gift tote" weekend and I swear they needed to double the size of mailing box just to accommodate a tote I didn't want and find too flimsy to use for anything other than sticking a beach towel in. Going forward, I'll just wait a few days and order after the tote offer is over.

Oh dear, I didn't like anything in this collaboration. I feel like these are statement pieces to be looked at in a display window, but not actually worn day to day. I just can't imagine myself fitting these pieces into my wardrobe. Lately I've really been feeling like Sezane is designing more for Instagram than real life. PS your information about traditional embroidery really resonated with me - thanks.

Sézane is expensive, so I only buy things from them that are special and that you can't find elsewhere. I like the collection and ended up buying one blouse

That's nice and you're right this Brand is expensive.But I do think some pieces really worth the investment, for example White shirts. I've been buying white shirts from fast fashion and they never look right, after wash the fabric looked cheap. Until I bought the Tomboy and the Max, and they really amazing quality.

True, I don't like anything. These are pieces that don't resonate with my personal style nor they don't worth the investment as, like you say, they're statement pieces but not in the good way.

Agreed! I feel like these are statements I don't need to make lol. Tbh, I've never been tempted by anything from a collab collection. They're often lovely to look at, but stray too far from the quality & style of Sezane's original vision.

I will not buy anything tomorrow. I will wait until March for the Sring collection for more pieces, colours and other things. I also have many shirts ofe sezane and now I am thinking before I spend my money. I want pieces 100 % cotton or linen made in Europe. No more synthetic or pieces made in China. And Sezane has lot of pieces made in China!!!!!

Agree! And this move to produce so much in China seems to have happened so fast. The first time I encountered Sezane ... only 3 years ago (?) it felt like I wanted everything and so much was made in Italy or even France. I remember being wowed by the incredible quality - e.g, knit cardigans with reinforced button bands so they don't sag - perfect hems, cuffs, and collars - and everything so colourfast and impeccably sewn that pieces from then still look new. Now that describes maybe 1, maybe 2 pieces in a typical drop. Even their previously reliable cotton knits are now being blended with polyamide and elastane for no reason that's going to benefit the consumer. Sad.

@@sparklie962 The reason is because Sezane is not more a small Company but tends to become international like ZARA or H&M with 90% produced in China or India but who made sezane bigger? The people !!! Therefore I suggest to be more selective and not buy so much. Sezane archive pieces are 90% Viskose and polyester.

Rien ne me plaît dans cette collection. Les broderies sont trop présentes. On s'en lasser très vite. Je passe mon tour, ce n'est pas pour moi (et tant mieux pour mon porte monnaie !)

Agree, and it breaks my heart because even 2 years ago every (way less frequent) drop felt like a winner and just amazing quality compared to anything I could get from the local malls. Well, I treasure the beautiful, high quality pieces I acquired then and am fine with giving anything less than that excellence a miss now.

Collection is underwhelming. There are 2-3 somewhat decent pieces. The embroidery looks uninteresting. Colors are blah. I was excited to maybe want 5 things but ended up ordering just the CHLO shirt in two variations.
