I'm more into the running these days, so mostly putting my energy into coaching, training and hopefully soon getting back to THIS channel! I might post occasionally still on SNL though!

I'll tell you why. He wasn't making enough money on it, so decided to move over to running, and now he just uses this platform to sell e-books, coaching etc.

I want to qualify for army 5km race in 24 minutes now I'm at 25 . I only have 15 days . I'm trying hard 6days mor nd evng .I worry about overtrained and sick before race. What's your advice I should keep my hard days or be easy to moderate on last 15 days.

If you can do 25 minutes now, I'm certain you will be able to do 24 minutes on race day because of the extra energy and motivation you get on that day! But a tapering period is always smart leading into a race, to get the most out of your fitness and reduce training fatigue. Here's how: Maintain the usual routine and frequency of runs until the race. But gradually reduce the volume (amount of kilometers/hours spent training). You can keep the hard days, but again at a lower volume. So same intensity but just less total time spent running hard in that session. I would say that this week you shouldn't have more than 2-3 hard days depending on what you're used to. And just reduce the overall volume. Then next week (race week) you reduce volume even further. Perhaps this week you can run 60-80% of your normal volume, and the last 7 days before the race perhaps around 30-50% of your normal volume. Last week: I recommend doing a light quality session 3-4 days before the race, and taking a rest day two days before the race. Then a super light mini jog (15-20 min) the day before the race to keep things loose. Good luck! I started running in the winter so I ran on a treadmill(cold trigger the asthma), its warming up and running outside is so much harder, idk how to pace myself. Like I speed up and slow down without knowing

Yeah the treadmill takes pacing out of the equation since it's constant. But it'll get better over time :) And it's a LOT more entertaining to run outside, do you agree? Treadmills can be torture!
