As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord... I cannot force another house, or person to come to my perspective, just as other people should not force their own views on my house. Political views should be to the benefit of the people who reside within the region affected, but benefits should be restrained to only necessary purposes, not overreach into any personal convictions, unless those are detrimental to self or other persons. In this beautiful country, the United States of America we have freedom to believe what we want to believe, ....especially how we view God. Some worship Him out of tradition, the way their parents believed,.... and are perfectly happy with that. Others happily worship God after much conscientious study of His word, ....which either confirmed their beliefs, or changed them after making adjustments to what God has made clear to them. Then there are those who choose not to believe in God, at all, either from experiences they've had in their lives, or the influences their family handed down to them, .....and they are perfectly happy with that. The very first thing mentioned in our First Amendment to the Constitution provides that the "Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise thereof"....this is so we can "continue" living happily with our chosen ways to believe, ....or not to believe. The reason why this was written first and foremost is because of history, .....which many seem to have forgotten, or may have not been taught in school. Has anyone heard of the "Dark Ages", and why they were called the "Dark Ages" ? It's during the time when the Inquisition took place by persecuting and killing off anybody who didn't believe like them. The Inquisition may have been abolished and the Papal system made apologies for it, however, are we beginning to see it rise up again ? The Pilgrims did not flee to this country without reason. They wanted to continue to believe the way "they" wanted to believe, but were not being allowed to.....they were fleeing religious persecution. Since we just recently celebrated the 4th of July Independence Day, commemorating our freedoms, this issue should be considered foremost in our minds, especially as we're starting to see church and state come back together.....again. Louisiana and Oklahoma just made it mandatory to display The Ten Commandments, insisting biblical teachings have a place in their public schools. For instance, Oklahoma's law states “Every teacher, every classroom in the state will have a Bible.” While that, to most of us, seems like a good idea, .....whose "interpretation" of the Bible will they be teaching ? There are so many faiths and denominations in this country, will one size fit all in our classrooms, or will, as in the Dark Ages, only one interpretation be "the" one size to fit.... "all" ? Are we headed for another Inquisition ? If this continues, the Bible says, in Daniel 12:1 ..."at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time....." Revelation 13:17 says "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." A woman by the name of Ellen G. White wrote in her book Last Day Events on page 131 .... "our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government" .....are we beginning to see that now ? Look how many principles they have "already" taken away ! Looks like some specific "power" is looking to have total control.........again ! Hold on to your seat folks ! We're in for some interesting and hard times, but don't despair.....Jesus is coming soon ! 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Four security and the 'shooter' on the roof....Why is the cop holding the shooter's arm up? If the shooter was dead, the body is not supposed to be touched. it is a crime scene. If the shooter is being cuffed as you stated, then he isn't dead. Now one must ask why the 4 minute delay after a witness told cops that a guy was bear crawling along the roof with a rifle? Regan was a Democrat up until he ran for president, a lot of you younger conservatives/reps most likely have not known this. Regan was a fine person and president, he spent a lot of his adult life in Hollywood where you pretty much had to be a democrat to be considered for anything. Trump as well spent much of his as a democrat. There used to be two different types of Democrats; liberal dems and conservative dems. A lot of rural folk used to vote for the more conservative dems 45+ years ago.

I can't get behavior and a government that doesn't allow abortion in certain circumstances. If a 13 year old girl gets pregnant from a rape by her foster parent..I think that should be grounds for abortion. That child has no business giving birth. Going through that trauma (all of it) is truly unnecessary. I don't believe it should be a source of birth control, and if I'm not mistaken, this plan also wants to do away with contraception of any kind...this is a mistake. I can get on board with some of the other points, but, freedom of religion should also still be a thing.

The policy also says that the abortion pills cannot be sent in the mail to their clients. They will have to come into the office to get the pills. Also, they will only get 7 weeks opposed to the 10 weeks time frame to Abbott that they now have. Either way I don’t think absorption should be allowed unless it could be a death or life situation.

Why should it create persecution though? They have a “National Day of” for just about every thing else you can imagine under the sun, like ‘National Pride Day’, for instance, and they are in a minority! I dont agree , I was raised suburban philly ex husbands family raised rural SC. Living in KS. Ive seen the differences of growing up in both areas education better where i was raised as my kids where a year behind in rural areas when we moved back to PA. I also respect everyones spiritual beliefs and believe that its a family / individual choice and no one group should have the right to make laws suppressing anothers. Im also 56 and remember when my mother and grandmother had to rely on a man as head of home and suffered because of it . The stories of family members unable to leave. I believe america is great because we have the freedoms to choose our lives and how to live them. I also welcome diversity be it religion ,race, gender sexual pref. Ive had 5 kids one passed but raised 4 to the young adults they are alone since the oldest was 12 youngest 3 while their dad rural raised christian went off and started new family. The thing im trying to convey is not everyones life is the same. Their values arent the same . I understand your raised in a way to promote your biblical teachings in ref to your beliefs . I respect my jewish brother in laws also. My Catholic upbringing my D&H christian values my other D budda beliefs my sons to choose for themselves when ready or not to my ex in laws baptist views. Whats wrong with keeping it a family choice and respecting each other and living in acceptance that we all are diff. We all have reasons for why we do things diff and respect it. Maybe growing up outside the city taught me more acceptance as i grew up ive witness the non acceptace from my southern family be it race, relig. Gender etc. I will vote blue so people arent forced to live by anothers feelings. Choose whats best for your family but leave it there. If you raise em by your standards im sure they'll follow. I introduced my kids to all so theyd make their own choice and will support them. Sorry lengthy but you hjust happen to be the person i ran across to help you see anothers perspective. ✌💙

With all due respect, you seem to have some stereotypes based on the south you grew up in 50 years ago. While the south isn't perfect, we've come a very long way. I'm a 35 yo white woman living in Alabama and working in Mississippi. My favorite uncle is gay. Most of the people I follow on social media are black or gay conservatives. I even follow 2 trans women who are conservative. I work with 3 gay men who are fabulous, 2 of whom are conservative as well. I work alongside black people every day. They're the life of the party. I have agnostic and atheist friends. I have Catholic friends, Baptist friends, Jewish friends, Muslim friends, and Jehovah witness friends. In short, the conservatives I know are very, very diverse and most do not share my religious beliefs so I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion we reject diversity. Yes, we value moral principles and want to encourage and promote nuclear families. I mean, statistically, its been proven that children with 1 parent households struggle more than children with 2 parents. If we want a stable and successful future for our country, we need to be raising stable and successful children, right? Two parent homes are more stable. Children coming from two parent homes are generally more successful. Supporting and encouraging nuclear families seems like a logical thing we should all want for children, right? I also have to point out that the left is literally forcing women to share their bathrooms and sports with men who "feel" like women. That, to me, is the very definition of people being controlled by other people's "feelings". Women are not equal to men when it comes to physical strength and dexterity. Acknowledging that doesn't mean we aren't equal in value. It is simple biological fact that men are physically superior in strength. Yet ALL women have to sacrifice their comfort, and safety in some cases, because a tiny percentage of men "feel" like women? They also have to stand by and allow years of training to perfect thier sport and make women's records to be destroyed by a man who suddenly "feels" like a woman after failing when trying to compete against men? Sorry, I just don't understand how you can say you're voting blue so people won't be controlled by other people's feelings yet all the left does is scream and push their beliefs on conservatives because of their feelings. It's just incredibly ironic 😂
