Thanks for the excellent video. So many hidden secrets that everyone should know. In imessages, I don't have a circle to the left of the conversation to long press and get contact details. I have an iPhone SE and on iOS 16.5.1 (a). Also, how did you create the change auto lock shortcut.

Most helpful iPhone tips video I have seen yet thank you very much trying to stick with iPhone so I can communicate better with all of my customers and friends :-) you may have convinced me to stay at least for a little while ha ha Just curious when you said If you’re one of those people to close the tabs one at a time he says like it’s such a big pain in the butt which it is but then he goes off about the Safari quick tab capability? Can I close all of the app tabs all at once like I could on a Samsung? Seems like you’re going to tell us then went off on something else :-)
@TheMacWhisperer Жыл бұрын
To close all the tabs in safari at once press and hold on the overlapping squares at the bottom right (the tabs), then select “Close All” from the list that pops up..

Another excellent video with good content. For your first tip, the pressing clock button to reach top of page, I would like to add that one can press anywhere on the top area which includes the camera notch or battery /WiFi icon to get the same result.
@TheMacWhisperer3 жыл бұрын
+Gurpreet Singh i’m so glad you said that. It actually had not occurred to me that it would work that way because on former operating systems it didn’t… So I had gotten used to just hitting the clock for years now… But you are right, it works everywhere along the top… Excellent info! Keep watching, and be sure to let me know if there’s a video you’d like to see me make.

@@TheMacWhisperer Your content is niche, it definitely adds value. I suggest you can also look at some problems that iOS and Mac OS faces and highlight their solutions. One of the issues I am facing with my i7 is severe battery drops since I upgraded to iOS 14. Though the battery health is at 84% but on iOS 13 there was no such issue.
@TheMacWhisperer3 жыл бұрын
@@gurpreetrege Thanks for the suggestion! Battery issues can be super frustrating, and an OS upgrade can create new issues when they add functionalities that prior OS did not have. In June we will learn all about iOS 15, so it is more likely I focus on that OS... but I will definitely keep your suggestions in mind as I make my next videos!!!
