@@TheMacWhisperer Group mailing in the Mail app based on a search, but I don't think it exists or I haven't figured it out yet.
@TheMacWhispererАй бұрын
With the latest operating system, Mail has the ability to connect to groups in your address book. Once you set those groups up, you should be able to do group emailing pretty easily. Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks for all the information you provide and the energy you have to present with all your enthusiasm which I know is physically draining at the end of a day. I just joined the membership and will share with others I interact with at my community. Job well done!

Welcome aboard JAMES! So glad to have you here. Fortunately I love what I do so the energy is almost endless. I’ve been doing this professionally for over 20 years and I have no intention of slowing down now…

It's the byproduct of a very busy month and a very busy week, but I still really love teaching people how to use their equipment better... even if it doesn't look like it. Thanks for watching!

How can I connect my iPad to a monitor? Via Airplay?
@TheMacWhispererАй бұрын
Depending on the iPad you have if it has a USB-C connection you can plug it directly into a monitor either with a USB-C to HDMI cable or if your monitor supports it directly with USB-C. You need to have one of the more recent iPads for that functionality… Otherwise yes you can airplay either to your computer or your Apple TV… But a direct cable will give you a much better Result.

Stage Manager is only availble on certain iPad Air and iPad Pro models.
@TheMacWhispererАй бұрын
Absolutely true. It's one of the newer features, so it needs a relatively recent iPad to function with. Most of the iPad Minis don't do it either.

Can I connect my iPad to my television?
@TheMacWhispererАй бұрын
Sure, but depending on your iPad and your television, there are multiple ways to do it. First off, if you have an Apple TV connected to your television, or televisions that support AirPlay, you can do without wires by simply screen sharing from your iPad to your TV. If you have the right level iPad and an HDMI to USB-C (or to Lightning if you have an older iPad) cord you can plug it in that way. AirPlay is always the easiest and best way because it doesn't require the cord, but by using an HDMI to USB-C or Lightning cable you can also accomplish the same thing.

Nothing of what you’re saying works on my iPad 4air
@TheMacWhispererАй бұрын
The iPad Air can definitely do the split screen and the slide over functions, but possibly not stage manager. Make sure you are on the latest operating system you can upgrade to. What version iPad Air do you have? and what iOS are you on?

Just register to membership 4.99 😐 You are right about Siri having no patience ! I French , with a French accent One time I asked Siri a question that she did not understand AND She did not waist anytime ! She said to me bye bye , That was the last time I talked to Siri 😁
@TheMacWhispererАй бұрын
Have you considered turning Siri onto French mode, so that you can speak in your native language to her and she will ignore the accent? Thanks for joining the channel! Looking forward to getting to know you better, Claire.
