What do they find important, how do they tend to solve problems, what behavior will they find acceptable, what lines are they willing to cross?

14:00 was amusing to enforce this rule for a Garou cept alpha who were suffering from harano while they were stuck in a Glen (Place of healing,) They were broken out side of the Glen but still had a duity to the cept as Cept Alpha who did not give a next cept alpha.

3:31 I did not know non Garou with Garou pairings could produce metis, but I guess that doesn't matter in the new version. Also the Perfect Metis can't exist anymore obviously.

is W5 really a werewolf the apocalypse game though? is it. I don't think so. they changed and removed too much for me to recognize it as as such. you can certainly move a story forward, but its rules changes like the removal of the metis breaks Fundamental rules of the universe. Don't break canon. if other people like it, that's fine, but don't mistake this for what its is. its W5, not werewolf the apocalypse.

2 World of Darkness sessions I ran today Also, Maple cannot say the word F&%*$ck and shows a dirty picture about it 🤣, hilarious bro 😆 1) Metis often kill their mothers in birth and cannot reproduce 2) Combat the Wyrm which means even Garou who are corrupted by the wyrm or even smell like it even if it was not their fault for that wyrm taint ending into an attack from local werewolves 3)Respect the territory of another doesn't mean acceptance, a sept may still decline you even when you are are gentle in youy ways. 4)Honourable surrender means after you rip him to shreds and he lowers ego and does not goe berzerk, there should be no shame but often is and that doesn't end well more often than not 5) Submit to the higher in station doesn't often come without force, especially in the new days where young garou are more hotheaded and disrespectful to the old ways. 6)This strangely holds true more often than the respect to the eldersbecaus even the most disrespectful cubs end up forming groups of Garou who have an understanding amongst them and probably a bond by blood. 7)The feast on human and wolf felesh is forbidden but it can happen more often than expected, because of unexpected hunger and lack of food, or simply an untimely Frenzy, eat all your hamburgers before going out cub. 8) You already know that the respect to the lower instation is probably kept by half of the tribes 😆 9) The Veil not only must not be lifted but also preserved which means don't leave witnesses behind, fro the good or for the bad. 10)You must be a heavy metal grand pa to go into malpheas and die there in a blaze of Glory, many garou preere to go away and never? return. Nowadays only the most hardcore kill the older and usually when challenging them for an alpha position. 11) This is the rule that is respected the most because it can lead to breaking rules number 13 and number 2 12) Same with rule 11 13) Caerns are LOVED by Garou they are Garou paradises and they must make something realy unwitting baboons or must be a very corrupted one to damage a caern, the problem is that an action that damages the caern often is used by political enemies of a Garou more often than not in when the is an aplication of Law numver 11 when the things ca n get out of control in a moment's notice.

How did they go

@@TheMapleTable the one finished extremely well, the second is not done yet. We had a Moot gathering for the pack to inform a Bone Gnawer caern about their research on a Kinfol murdering incident. They found out what Maeljin is behind the murders, but they don't know yet who moves the strings. The pack previously was ambushed by 15 Fomori who were even armed with silver weapons but our three Garou managed to kill 10 of them and scare the rest away, but the Metis theurge entered Frenzy and the other two had to find a way to calm him down, which they had to throw him from a rooftop 😆 and the Glass Walker even took two battle scars in order to do so. The Moot was full of laughter, jokes, teasing, tricks, social traps of social embarassement in honour to Laughing Hyena, the Caern Totem. Not to mention the declaration of sexual assault on eachother's relatives 😆 (hot mothers especially). The pack earned their renown and the next session will be their Pack creation and totem finding before they continue their quest. This is also my very first Urban Campaign (most I ever had was with those rural monsters that lurk in the woods), and it is really funny, with social interactions, political interactions and lots of complicated stuff, unnecessarily complicated some times to say, as much as human society can be 😋. About to start the Changeling one soon.

Just since you mention the old Werewolfs not being able to deal with todays society: How old do Werewolfs get? Is it like explaining granpa how to send an e-mail or is it with a Ventrue from the 16 hundreds, who refuses to send messeges in another way than carrier pidgeon?

I'm curious as well. I've heard some say the typical human lifespan into well over in their hundreds. And some say several hundred years.

Dieing old is actually a source of shame for werewolves so getting into your 60s is "old" for Garou.

Garou have the same lifespan as humans, though with warrior society they do tend to live less

There are werewolves who Live from the Wild West Era around 200-300 years old and are still active, though their are not many Garou who reach that age and it is rumoured that a Garou can reach around half a milenia of lifetime or even more depending on the life they make.

Great vid. Reminds me a lot of some of the Warhammer ones I like to watch with nice lore pictures in the background. Just because I like to be a smart-ass, but Democracies aren't really new. The idea has been around since Before Christ (B.C). So ancient times. More specifically Ancient Athens. And for those of us that studied it, whether that be a huge interest in Ancient Greece or Political Science, we know that it wasn't doing to hot... In fact Democracy proved to be less stable than most other political theories. (Peloponnesian Wars 1 vs 2) In fact it was a resident of Athens, Plato, who came up with the political theory that most countries that have a voting system use. Which is called a Republic. Since Athens was a Democracy, after Plato suggested using this new political theory (That Rome would end up using before Caesar came about) a vote started for having Plato executed for suggesting to take power away from the people. (Which usually ended up as a mob... This is where the term Anarchy comes from.) More people were in favor of executing Plato resulting in his early death to execution. *Jokingly* Athens lost more people to itself than to any enemy. Especially Sparta.

I don't understand Werewolves lifecycle. So a werewolf needs to bang a human to create another werewolf. So what if the werewolf is a man? he has to bang a human woman and wait 9 months and then wait another 13-14 years to find out if the child is a werewolf or a human. If the child is a werewolf and then what? take the child from the mother and join the tribe? What if the werewolf is a woman... I'm confuse here
