Here's how to crochet a cat based off of my spooky cat collection. This tutorial covers just how to make the cat and not the spooky hats, but it makes an adorable plushie either way!
Here's PART 2 of the Tutorial: • Beginner Step-by-Step ...
I made this tutorial for beginners, so I go into a lot of the skills and stitches in detail. Besides the connecting of the feet, this crochet project only uses basic crochet plushie skills. Unfortunately, black yarn is not a typical color that I would suggest for beginners because it's harder to see the stitches. So even though I used black yarn in this video because I happened to be making a black cat, I would suggest potentially using a lighter yarn color. I've included some parts in this tutorial where I show the stitches in a different yarn color as well for this reason and I do have other beginner tutorials where I use lighter colors that you can also check out if the black yarn is too difficult to follow. If you are completely new to crochet and find it a little overwhelming to follow along, I also suggest practicing some of the stitches individually before putting them altogether in a plushie.
